What people say
good location, pool/tub and gym were nice, studio suite was pretty good, quite (October stay).
The Alpenglow is central to an incredible number of shops and
restaurants.

fire place did not work, check out at 10am.
It was advertised as non-smoking, yet we observed the following issues:
(1) cigarette smoke from adjacent balconies filling our room (preventing
us from being able to enjoy fresh air), (2) hundreds of cigarette butts
in space next to our balconies (their non-smoking policy obviously has
had little enforcement), (3) cigarette ash falling onto our balcony
table from the upper units. (We have photos of the latter two of these.)

Strange check in at an other hotel.
Our room was so small. our bed was a sofa which we had to pack away each day and put extra doonas on it to make it comfortable. they had a fold out wall bed also, but you couldn't walk through the room to the bath room. very poor layout and design.

Please note, the property follows different age restriction check-in policies according to the season –
Winter Season 2016/2017: 18 November 2016 – 30 April 2017: Only guests of the age 19 or older are allowed to check in, check out or stay at the accommodation without a parent or official guardian.
Summer Season: 1 May – 22 November 2017: Only guests of the age 21 or older are allowed to check in, check out or stay at the accommodation without a parent or official guardian. The minimum check-in age is 25 over Victoria Day weekend ( 19 - 22 May 2017) without exceptions.
Winter Season 2017/2018: 23 November 2017 – 30 April 2018: Only guests of the age 19 or older are allowed to check in, check out or stay at the accommodation without a parent or official guardian.
Final Payment Schedule:
Regular Winter Season: 18 November 2016 - 15 December 2016 and 1 January 2017 – 30 April 2017: The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival. Holiday Season: 16 December 2016 to 31 December 2016: The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 60 days prior to arrival.
Summer: 1 May – 22 November 2017: The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 7 days prior to arrival. The credit card used at the time of the booking must be presented by the cardholder upon check-in.
Regular Winter Season: 23 November 2017 - 14 December 2017 and 7 January 2018 – 30 April 2018: The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival. Pre-Holiday Season: 15 December 2017 to 21 December 2017: The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 45 days prior to arrival.
Holiday Season: 22 December 2017 to 6 January 2018: The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 60 days prior to arrival.
A security deposit will be required at check in and hold for the entire stay of the guests. The deposit amount can vary depending on the unit booked, the age of the guests, the size of the group and especially the period of time (eg. higher on long weekends and during the winter season). It may vary from CAD 250 - CAD 2000.
Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. A touch-up clean and towel and linen change are included once every 4 days for stays of 5 nights or longer. Additional housekeeping services are available for a fee. Please note that the check-in and key-collection take place at: 4315 Northlands Boulevard , V0N 1B4 Whistler. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
