I was in awe about the Jericho Beach location and the quiet location of the hostel. Spent lots of time in Vancouver and never experienced such a perfect location in terms of price, bus connections to downtown and friendly ness. Washrooms are good, staff is the best I've ever met, big kittchen, good wifi almost everywhere. Very friendly, clean and quiet. Efficiently run. Great price. Thank-you!.

The district kitsilano. Very comfortable bed. The staff was about the only awesome part of this stay. They were extremely helpful and friendly and accommodating. The location was cool too. It was well organized. Friendly staff Good restaurant / average prices or less. Close to bus stops Close to the beach and park. so close to the beach price was good for what was available. None at all. Dormrooms are very big so it's loud at night. The dor to the dormroom opens and closes very loud. It was a bit awkward getting to the UBC by public transport on the weekend. Bus trip meant two separate bus rides, and bus not that frequent before 8:00 am on weekend. Could have been cleaner. - no electric outlet in room - more expensive than similar places elsewhere for no apparent reason. It wasn't very clear where everthing was within the hostel, some signage would be helpful!. Noisy at night, long walk to restaurants. For breakfast/dinner only one choice in the surrounding area. I'm not too familiar with hostels...so maybe it was just me.. But i described the feel of this hostel to friends as very prison like. Cold, uncomfortable rooms. It was incredibly loud (and i can usually sleep through anything). I had to take nyquil and put in ear plugs to drown the sounds of a soccer match and fellow visitors. .-There are not enough outlet to plug in your computer or cell. .- The door where you swipe your card to get access to the dorm is too noisy at night. It might be helpfull to change the door. Having the door that has acces with card, for the door that is in the hallway of the dorm (Cypress). not told that if you have lived in bc that you cannot stay there toilets showers awful not very private. Did not represent themselves accurately. They are VERY far from central. They said 25 minutes away, but it often took 1 hour.
