Room was renovated and super nice! King bed, IPod dock, fireplace, seating, desk and chair. Coffee and fridge. Really nicely appointed washroom with eco friendly soaps, etc. Location is great. A lot of road construction right now in front so plan carefully if you are driving in especially from west end as street is partially closed in easterly direction so access is a bit tricky right now if you are not familiar with area. Was in town with teenage daughter to attend the Warped Tour early the ne.
all reviews » The location of the hotel is great right on the waterfront, you are in walking distance to the Rogers Center and the CN Tower, the hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment, the pool is located on the 5th floor and this is a lovely area with sun loungers and comfy seating and gets the sun for most of the day.. The breakfast is also lovely nice choice of fresh fruit, pastries and hot breakfast.. There is a tour bus stop across the road from the Hotel and booking office right beside it.... I loved my newly renovated room, the view of the harbour and the Rogers Centre, the convenience to the hop on/off buses, and mostly, the hotel staff. Cindy Miller (front desk trainer) was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and extremely personable. It was an absolute pleasure to speak with her. Jonny in the restaurant was great, as was Doris, our housekeeper. Whoever chose these people to staff the Raddison Toronto Harbourfront hotel knew exactly what they were doing!. Nice location with harbor and cn tower just a block away. All main attractions in downtown can be easily reach by foot. Some rooms have water view. Small Starbucks located in the ground floor as well as a sport bar. At the time the Main Street ( queens way) was blocked due to construction. Only buses traffic going west including buses were allowed, so we had to walked about 2 blocks to find transportation. The pool was great. Great service with drinks and food. Very clean, good location, not to many bars or what not open late around it, also a little far from public transportation but able to walk almost everywhere. Overall great hotel and great experience. Construction made things a little complicated but there's nothing they cab do about that. really enjoy this location have stayed here previously excellent location for the Air Canada Centre loved the waterfront and pool beautiful location staff is very friendly and helpful would hightly recommend the Radisson to any one who needs a lovely spot to stay in Toronto. After a frazzled day on the road, the room upgrade and the very elegant accommodations lifted our spirits. Best night's sleep of our trip. Excellent location for summer travellers. Staff were superb. And it's close to the Billy Bishop / Island Airport. Comfortable rooms,great harbor front location, and a great staff of people at the front desk which far overcame the remodeling issues. CN Tower and Jays stadium within a short whaling distance. Hop on Hop off bus loads near hotel. Parking was very reasonable, staff helpful, 5th floor pool was nice and the deck area overlooking the water and Island Airport was entertaining. Many rooms have views over Toronto harbour, and the swimming pool deck has excellent views of the CN tower. The staff were very helpful when I arrived and readily moved me to a more to a room more appropriate to accommodate my needs. All of my encounters with the staff were met with friendliness and helpfulness. :). The room and facilities were clean and the staff, in particular the front desk staff were very helpful. Parking was easy although finding the hotel was a challenge given the construction on Queen's Quay. The location was wonderful! We were able to easily walk to a Blue Jays game and the subway for other outings. The staff was also lovely! They helped provide directions to help us navigate the city. The service, staff and general all round facilities were excellent. I would defienetly return back to the hotel for a second visit. Coming from London, UK I was made to feel very comfortable. I loved the location, I flew into Toronto City Airport and walked for about 15 minutes from the ferry terminal to the airport. While I was there, it was a quick walk to the CN Tower. Close proximity to Rogers Centre. Staff treatment was excellent and welcoming. Food & drinks were good. We would definitely return but not until some of the construction is gone. Great hotel in excellent location. Sights, restaurants, activities, railway station and Island airport are all within walking distance of this well placed harbour front hotel. Compared to other hotels in the area reakfast is very expensive as well. The hotel charges Internet access as the front desk rep. Told us, but at the end he gave us the code for complementary access. No microwave in the room. Public transportation was a little far. Not to many late night entertainment options around. Nothing to dislike at all. The road construction for the Pan American Games was a pain in the butt. Worse, it's not going to end until 2015. So driving to and from the hotel is a nuisance. Minor complaint, offset by the very positive experience at the hotel. Nothing. Construction, not your fault, and will end in 2014. a bit tricky to find. The guest directory said that the pool had towels available but it did not. The whole pool area looks like it needs some renovation, as the changing area is not very pleasant and a contrast to everything else. It also took us a while to locate the pool entrance which is actually through the restaurant, it could do with signs!. At the time of staying (2013/08) Toronto harbourfront is in the middle of being renovated, so there were many road works along the road that the hotel is located on. When this development is completed then it will make the hotel's location even better though. On my third and last night at the hotel there was a strange humming buzzing sound that was quite loud at times and prevented me from sleeping. I don't know what it was or where it was coming from and I felt that it was too late in the night to change my room but it was quite disturbing and weird. The only other thing I didn't like was that the TV did not get Space or the Comedy Channel. :(. The pillows were not that comfy (for us). One night (~ 2:45) I awoke to vacuuming in the corridor outside our room. Although we don't watch much TV, it would have been nicer to have HD service. The area is under construction, but this isn't the hotels fault. There wasn't anything we didn't like about the hotel. The only one downside and negative point would be the continuous road works and noise caused during the day Mon-Fri makes the hotel not ideally suitable and tarnishes and takes away the limelight, excellent hotels reputation. It was difficult to find the entrance to the Hotel, there is A LOT of construction going on right now near the hotel so by car it was difficult to get around. I'm sure once they finish up it will be awesome though. Had a very difficult time finding entrance to hotel and parking, probably mostly due to all the construction going on around you. Trying to get into parking garage, the vehicle ahead of us was too tall to enter and everyone had to back up. Just one of those things but added to everything else. our trip did not have a very good beginning. Building works (lobby and lifts but did know from hotel website about them when booked) Most of downtown Toronto seemed to have construction work - no avoiding it. Roadworks every were noisy outside the hotel rooms 24hours per day going on for the next 2years. Hotel lobby also being refurbished so chaotic at times. Major road construction work along the waterfront made it difficult to get to and from the hotel. Too modern appearance. Construction going on right next to the hotel, it was pretty loud but out of their control and they moved us to the water side so we couldn't hear it. It was hard to find because of the construction. The directions off the internet were slightly off. Construction at the hotel and all around the hotel. Dirty towels before we even used them in the bathroom. Expensive considering all the inconveniences. Construction! Had a hard time finding you guys! Drove around the place 3 times. Would be nice to get a free stay to come back when construction is over for the inconvience. The construction around the hotel was horrible. Not a particularly good value for the room, given the lack of breakfast and overall feel of the hotel. Check in front desk staff was not very informative, somewhat rude. there's nothing to dislike at all!. It was being renovated. until mid 2014 the street and arounds are in major street works the not included breakfast (with 2 kids it's a big money). Was very disappointed in our room it faced the back alley and I booked a harbour view, the building was under construction and very noisey, the room and hotel didnt look anything like the picture that I booked. The rather peculiar restaurant set-up which precludes serious diners from enjoying the adjacent terrace in favour of pool-side activities, unless you like eating from paper plates and drinking from plastic. The pool is in the wrong place. I didnt like the fact that there was construction going on throughout the hotel and we were not notified when we booked or before we arrived so we were stuck with staying there on the 8th floor with only 1 working elevator which left us waiting for up to 20 miniutes at times. sure wish the construction would be finished soon...the only complaint that I have...not any one at the hotel's fault... Noisy guests in neighbouring room. Smoking cannabis and playing loud music. Smell of cannabis in corridor and came through our ac. Made complaint but told was just one of those things and the hotel was very busy so nothing they could do. No apology. Bloke who checked us in was a misery guts and unwelcoming. No intro given or details about facilities etc. Service was actually bit pants. Was disappointed that the restaurant and bar were closed during our overnight stay. Also although server apologised our wait for breakfast was aprox 30mins. Bit of noise from hotel renovation works. Staff were very generous in upgrading us as compensation. new reno....maids don't clean or check behind new dressers for dirt.....shame. Having to climb 5 stories on a hot afternoon because both elevators were out of service and didn't like all the road construction in the immediate area ....but that is out of your control. Nothing. The hotel is beeing refurbished now and lots of street works outside. When all work is finished it will be a superb hotel. the construction -both on local roads plus on hotel. need to have fan in bathroom.
