Cheap.not to far to centre. It is only a short walk from the centre of town. the closness to down town. The price was right before I knew that I was staying ina hostel. I dod however like that the Downtowner Inn had a little pic-nic area outside that we were able to enjoy...as well I liked that there was parking available for me at a low cost.Nothing. The staff. nothing. The only thing I liked was the location, easy to get to bus and subway. Very central.location is good. Location. It's a horrible place to stay; weird staff and customers, broken tv and lamps, no towel, smelled bad, breakfast = donuts that you have to beg every morning at the front desk... stay away from it. Nothing.it's the very dirty place that I have ever seen in my life.close to the center of the city. none...air condition noise, grossness on wall. 1.Hair on a the pillow case 2. Stong smell of cooked food on the corridor 3. Door that did not close tight.Room was not really clean... Poor breakfast and from two PC connected to internet was one out of order.the towels are too small and 2 is not enough for 3 nights. Far-ish from the Toronto nightlife, run down facilities.could have done with a lick of paint. it was a bit grubby. The room was tatty, damp satin on wall, no cover on ceiling light dirtycarpet. Public areas very tatty and dirty. So called continentalbreakfast was bread and jam... Check in staff seemed not to really care.More hostel like than hotel. I was there 4 nights towels not changedroom not made up at all during that time .the breakfast, there's is not a real breakfast. I did not like the room was so small and had very few channels available on the T.V. Also I did not appreciate that the room that we stayed in had no air conditionning, nor did the windows have any screens on them so that when we opened them because the room was scorching hot, we had no barrier between us and the bugs and the birds that swarmed around aou window all night. Too hot!!!!!!!!!. Poor quality and bad area. Very old without maintanance. the room was very small, it was not clean, and the things that were promised were not available, there was no telephone, no microwave, no refrigerator in the room. The hotel doesn't care about cleanliness of the room, bed not made when I got to the room the first evening and I did it myself the 2 following mornings.the room is not clean, and the management is not good. When I got there, the room is not cleaned up. And the breakfast was not ready on time. I didn't have the breakfast. Dirty. There is no room service. hotel is very dirty. Internet access did not work inside the room. It's a hostel. The cleanliness of the hotel is a real issue
you feel itchi, they charge the whole stay the second you enter so that you cannot get your money back if you want to leave.
rooms doors are not secure.
but all could be tolerated if the bed sheets were not itchi and the room did not smell.
the so called breakfast is actualy a bin of jam with some break.Well the hotel is so far from de downtown (walking), the hotel was verydirty, there was a dumsite out of the hotel, the room was very dirty andwiith moisten and the worst : there were bedbus on my bed!!!! They hitchus overnight it was awful!. too much expensive but with only a simple facility. all...
