very comfortable beds, nice and clean. friendly stuff and shuttle service to the airport took only 5 minutes. the owner took us to the airport at 5;30 am (shuttle service) and he was very nice and was making sure our stay at the hotel was the best. The room was beautiful and the small but efficient workout room was terrific. The staff I spoke with were friendly and the front desk responded to requests quickly. I loved that I could walk to my conference center location, the Atwell Center.
all reviews » Very quiet and the room was very clean and comfortable, feels like it is newly decorated. It included parking, Internet, and breakfast at a great price!! I will stay again!. They upgrade our room to a king bed size instead of a queen for free as it was our first visit and the staff was nice. The room was very clean and the bath also. Considerable renovations have been done although they are not quite finished. When completed the Days Inn will be quite nice. The actual room was very good. Sam the owner is very personable while I was eating breakfast , he actually came in and asked if everything was OK .He cared!. It was a great hotel for the price, it exceeded my expectations and I would stay there again. Very nice hotel, the facilities are great, very clean, fitness room is very nice. He was a business man, and I will bet he won't be back. Phone did not work. The orange juice and the apple juice on the first breakfast did not taste as it should ,(it seems that water was added). The hotel was far from downtown Toronto but close to the airport, so if your stay is just to take a fly is perfect but you need a car to go to downtown (25Km). Nothing around the hotel (no stores no restaurant,. I dislike having to call for an airport shuttle pickup which is part f their service. I would much prefer a regular schedule and stop at the airport, no calls needed. this was my second stay ,the first time the wifi wasn't working, it appears they have the problem fixed now. There is absolutely nothing to do out of the hotel if you don't have a car. Even food places are not in the vicinity of the hotel. Here ws someone smoking something like pot which seeped into my room. I told staff and they said they would have moved me, but if was close to midnight and to e that was't an option. They also said there was a $1500 fine for smoking. It happened again in the morning which was when I told them. All I got was an apology,. I stayed there very often and wish I would be treated like such. Surprised by lack of assistane from shuttle driver. Directed us to back door to load our own luggage. Didn't even assist an older lady with hers. We helped her!!!. the hotel was paid on booking, despite that they pre-authorized my credit card with additional $50 deposit (which was later returned); plastic cutlery with breakfast. bath tub drain was plugged but was fixed next day without asking no cups for coffee in room first morning. Room smelled of air freshner and it gave me a headache. I mentioned it on checkout and was told that a smoker probably used the room before me. They said I could have traded rooms, but I arrived at midnite with a small child so that wasn't possible. Staff was cordial and polite in dealing with me. Internet was dodgy on the first floor where I stayed. Could have used more coffee for in room coffee maker. Didn't have a booklet in room telling us where anything was. Parking fee was a surprise when I arrived. -way too much cleaning supplies smell. need to change to something else or cut back VERY HEAVY AROMA -internet connection needs boost to, way too many outages in a one hour period. The breakfast tables might be cleaned after use of guests and before the next one. Hair dryer did not work and missing shower curtain. They fixed it very quick. nothing. last day the toilet plugged and the tub too which was not good but the other rooms didn't have this problem. Icould not activate internet. Our room did not have a smoke detector. You could see the wires hanging from the ceiling. Location of Days Hotel in an Industrial area. Sometimes at breakfast time, there were missing bagles, toast bread. There was a short, bald chubby guy who claimed to be the owner had an attitude problem. He went to the extent of charging me an extra $10.00 per night over and above the agreed price at the time of booking. I did not stoop to his level. I liked the size of the room and beds. I loved the breakfast. I enjoyed the hotel and its location. My bed was made up but the sheets had not been changed, I had to call 2 times to have housekeeping to come and change the beding after 2 hours they did come apologized said they were busy. The staff upon check in and out were not very friendly or proffessional.although convenient and economical I would not stay there in the future. Personel not to friendly. Breakfast simple, prepare to eat from and with plastic gear. The city of Toronto is pretty far away. On letsbookhotel.com I saw the babybed was for free but while checking out I had to pay extra for the baby bed. I talked to the manager who said it was a mistake of Booking... The fact we booked through this site for 85 dollars a night and when we got there they had not gotten our reservation and we got charged 99 dollars instead of the rate we booked for. The facilities are very spartan. This may be because the hotel appears to have very recently reopened under new management (it's now called the Days Hotel), but it needs quite a bit of work from the staff to bring it up to the level where I think it should be. Breakfast was terribly unprofessional.Coffee not readily available. No laundry bags,had to ask for do not disturb sign and general disorganization. The staff was rude and extremely unprepared. Managing staff was awful, didn't care for us and felt bothered that we were staying there. Over charged for our stay from our booking price. Did not like the 170 dollar deposit they wanted when i checked in with no receipt of what the charge was for .The 170 was charged on my visa and has not yet been returned.Also ,the hotel sign says days in and not pearson international the one i booked,so it was very hard to find...not happy..... no food and alcohol near by. internet didn't worked. Heater in my room did not work, and it took a few hours to convince the desk agent to get me a space heater. Breakfast did not have the waffles as advertised. Signs in breakfast room prohibiting guests from taking food to their rooms. I found that to be paternalistic and insulting. Exercise bike in fitness room was in poor repair. The good quality flat screen tv was wasted due to low quality analog signal, and no pay per view options. The services was so bad, I asked them to set the sofa bed, they brought for me sheets and said you do the beds, I have been checked in a dirty room, then they changed the room. The hotel name is Days Inn not pearson. Hope to clean breakfast. There was no wifi connection even though they said it was something temporal, during my two days there it was never fixed. The staff was really rude (not including the cleaning lady). There was absolutely nothing near the hotel (restaurant, markets, nothing) the shuttle that is supposed to pick u up from the Airport to take you to the Hotel took like an hour... Mmm I would think it twice if I get to stay there again. Had to wait for shuttle for an hour and half, driver was very rude and so was the lady at the front desk. The bathroom was dirty. It is called Days Inn and not Pearson Hotel on the building. Would never go back. The staffs were so unproffessional and rude. The inefficiency of this hotel is on another level. I stayed for 4days, it took a day to get a microwave in my room and two days to get my light fixed. I was surprised that they have only one trip to the airport for any guest by the shuttle bus while the other trip will. Be payed. The staff not honest since they hide an information about the an empty room with a streetview while it was requested by me and when I insisted to get it they gave it to me. hard to find hotel guy in room next to us had music up loud all night ppl in his room no one on desk for most if night. We missed our flight because the guy driving the shuttle was late cost us 200.00 nothing to buy in hotsl I.e , snacks room svc the heater was super loud and there were cameras everywhere.
