  Although the building is old, the room was clean. The building is unique and has an old world charm. The internet was free and breakfast was included making it a good deal. This was my first visit to Thunder Bay so can't comment on the location of the hotel except for the fact that I chose it because it was on the waterfront - needs to capitali... what people say » ze on that. Staff very helpful and efficient. - The hotel reminded me of when I was young and would travel with my family. We often stayed in older hotels. You had a stunning view from our window. The beds were new, clean and quite comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The first morning we were there our car wouldn't start. A staff member call caa, which is Canada's version of aaa. We had the car up and running within an hour.

  The clerk was awesome help me with a few questions, enjoyed talking to the individual. The room was dam good for the price, had brand new microwave and fridge in my room. - really liked the older gentleman checking us in. He was very helpful in directing us to a great place to dine. The towels and bedding were very nice quality
