David and Kim were excellent hosts. Kim met us each morning at breakfast and was very hospitable. The house was very beautiful and very close to the harbour.

I had the pleasure of visiting a friend who was staying on the 1st floor.
I can only comment on the room. I thought it was a 10. One of the nicest decorated/furnished rooms of any hotel I have stayed in. The bathroom white marble was stunning.

When we checked in we were told what our room would provide ie water in fridge etc. I noticed that the soap was opened in bathroom and that likely the bathroom had been used after it was cleaned plus water was missing from fridge. I was impressed with the all the staff, who were very friendly, very helpful with our questions about local events and destinations. My impression is that the Hotel is well managed, and the staff are very well trained. The Hotel is beautifully laid out in refurbished 19th century buildings on the harbour front. The hotel is as central as one can get in St. John's, only one block off the main shopping and sight seeing streets.
I am sure that we will go back again.
