  The staff were very friendly. I booked last minuted, so the renovated rooms were unavailable. The room we did stay in was lovely. Simple, and you could tell that they were beginning the updating process. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Definitely good value for the money. - The owners are the staff.   The staff are very friendly.The rooms have a front door and a back sliding door leading to a nice grassy area along the river with picnic tables and BBQ's to use at your pleasure. It is also very pet friendly.I would stay there again and recommend Johnny's Motel to my friends. - Great staff! The room was very comfortable and even though it was right on the highway, we had no problems with road noise. We would definitely stay here again.

  This motel was basic in decor, but has been very well maintained. Super clean, freshly painted, clean carpet, very clean overall. The owners were very friendly. This motel has many amenities very close. You can go for a nice evening stroll, pick up ice cream, and enjoy watching the deer walking by.   The very friendly hostess went above and beyond to see to our needs, offer little extras, and give advice about the area. The breakfasts were excellent, near gourmet quality. The bedroom was very comfortable, and beyond that the hostess opened her home completely to us. It's a beautiful heritage home full of antiques.
