The hotel was very comfortable, no frills with a decent restaurant on site and accommodating front office staff. Great value for a highway hotel, and the off-road rooms were very quiet. Bighorn sheep in parking lot a nice bonus. The guy on reception was lovely and friendly, as was the barman; the food was great; the bar was cosy; the room was really smart and we loved the jacuzzi and sauna!.

The Queen beds were more double beds, too small for 2. Website stated there was a BBQ area, we purchased steaks but there was no BBQ. Website also stated fitness facilities...none. Kitchen quite run down and lacked proper items for cooking. The pool and hot tub were closed. Right on highway, adjacent to a snow mobile operation. A bit noisy; not picturesque. The heater was extremely loud. Every time it went on, it woke me up. We could not lock the door securely as the dead bolt did not work well. Noise level. The hotel was run down. Our room smelled funny and our sheets were not clean. The restaurant food wasn't great either. The beds, and especially the pillows, are extremely uncomfortable. The pillows are very tall and hard so you sleep with your head at an angle. I woke up with a serious kink in my neck. The mattresses were just extremely old and uncomfortable. The hotel is in desperate need of updating and was not worth the money we spent. Overpriced with no continental breakfast. Room not properly cleaned. Filter in air conditioner full of dust and fluff.
