  Staff was very accomodating!! Had a mix up with booking (requiring 2 queen beds not one) but they fixed it right away and with no extra charge! Very impressed with staff!! Good breakfast! - The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Edmonton.   Your booking company didn't get the reservation to the hotel before we arrived. We had to settle for a downgraded room because of your companies inability to promptly deliver the reservation. The hotel was great, you however, were not. - this is the hotel that has keurig coffee maker. fabulous. the bed is so comfy. it didnt give me a bad backache... what people say » compared to other hotels i have been checking in.wi fi is fantastic! - I don't know what percentage of rooms have been renovated, but my room had all new fixtures - bathroom heating and cooling.   Location was very convenient for my purpose as it is near to the Misericordia Hospital where my husband was having surgery. Also close to WEM where I could spend time when my husband was in the O.R. - Breakfast was great- it was nice to have a full complimentary breakfast, not just continental!

Adjoining the hotel is Rosie's Bar & Grill (we dined there - it was adequate and fairly good value) and a Thai restaurant and MacDonalds is very close by. The staff was like dealing with your own family (without the snide remarks :) The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was only there for one night so I didn't spend much time there.   I like the ambiance it's very accommodating from staff down to the facilities that the hostel offered. I like the room it's nice and clean and also the bathroom it was well maintained. I like the fact that the hostel provides the paper towels and tissue roll unlike in calgary downtown Hi-hostel I like the shower room also there is a room where yo... what people say » u can put your things and it was so clean. The kitchen is nice and also the living room. I like the location also it is accessible to any shops, resta - I'm in my 40's and have never stayed at a hostel. Honestly thought I would "have to make the best of it" but wanted to try a new experience. Staff were very helpful and I met tons of friendly folks to chat and spend the evening with. I would actually chose this option in the future vs. Staying in a hotel if I'm by myself. Next time I'd bring along a bottle of wine to share in the common room! Great experience! :)
