i really enjoyed the free upgrade to a suite, I got a call from the owner asking if I would like this free upgrade because he noticed my teen was traveling with us. very pretty motel, clean and nice kitchenette which was well stocked with everything to make a meal. would recommend to family and friends. Clean Fully supplied kitchen Location- city & close to parks Helpful with questions Private WiFi Highly recommend!!!! We were very delighted with the Inn.
all reviews » The owners of the inn were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotless. Well maintained and very cosy. We will definately stay there again. The motel is obviously not brand new, but it is well maintained and kept very clean. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The accomodations were very clean and the red geraniums were beautiful, added charm to the location. A good price. Well maintained, helpful staff. Room was clean, kitchen area items were adequate and interior was in good shape. The management, helpful attitude and willingness to assist, cleanliness, good accommodation, value for money. Firm beds. The lady at the front desk was great. She recommended a terrific place for lobster and it was exactly what We were looking for. no pool. Although the room was exceptionally clean, there was a wee musty smell, perhaps from the carpets. I would have liked a crasp bar by the shower. Kitchen could use a Microwave. Bedroom & Bathroom windows should be replaced they are dated. Only drawback was the distance from the downtown area but this was more than offset by the positives. There was a terrible musty smell in our room that latched on to us and our belongings. No hair dryer. Prices were pretty close to nearby more modern hotels. If we did not have that suite we may have gone for one of the many nearby hotel/motels. lack of coffee maker no ice machine [ we wanted to ice down a bottle of wine] no breakfast offered and facilities close by gave limited choice. price. Wished there was coffee in the room. A pretty dumpy place! The mat for the tub didn't stay in place, I slipped and fell twice before replacing it with a towel in the bottom of the tub. The musty, dirty smell in the room was overpowering. I could not sleep at all.
