Spent 2 very enjoyable nights there recently with our friends from Australia. It was comforting to come back to such nice rooms after spending the days out exploring Banff, Lake Louise and the Columbia Icefields. We had a standard deluxe room and our 5 friends shared a spacious 2 bedroom suite. The fireplaces came in handy both evenings as the temps were still a little cool. Extras like balconies with mountain views, kitchen facilities, bbq's, dishwashers, in-suite washer/dryer combo and underg.
all reviews » We stayed in this resort for a night and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The two bedroom apartment was large with large bedrooms. The kitchen was fully furnished and the kitchen stuff were all of a great quality. The balcony was great and there was a nice grill inside the balcony. The airconditioners were working great. I'm sure this place is one of the best places to stay in Canmore. very courteous staff who extended themselves to help us out. The location is conveniently located near downtown and the underground parking simplified moving groceries and baggage. The entire experience was excellent. Having TV's in both rooms was an added bonus, as was the washing machine and dryer. The room was lovely. Nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Reception was very helpful and rang to check that we had settled in the room ok. Lovely views of the mountains, even though we were'nt at the front of the hotel. Would definitely recommend!. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Loved the layout of the suite and also that it provided a washer/dryer right in our room which was beyond convenient for us. It had 3 cardio machines and that was it. The lounge is not overly comfortable in the apartments as the couch es are old and need replacing - we had a 2 bedroom and only enough seats for 3 people. There are two hot tubs, but they don't have lounge chairs to sit on if it is a hot day. No other complaints at all. Walls are a little thin if you have very loud neighbours. Our view of the parking lot and anoth hotel, with a little bit of mountain poking up behind them, next time we will be requesting a better view!. Hot tub closed too early. The underground parking entrance is too tight. The outdoor hot tub is too little, my friends and I didn't even have a chance to sit on it because it's always crowded. Nothing. Can't think of anything. Hot tub under sliding door. Noise until 1030pm. Door between units needs insulation. Noise at 6am. Restaurant has a very nice and helpful waitress. Food was good but extent of menu was limited. Wish had more time there. Couch in the living room was a pull out and not very comfortable. There was some dust in hidden corners. Hard pillows. I found the bed too soft and I thought the bed was a King or at least a Queen and it is double. Nothing. nothing. noise seems to travel easily between rooms. Too much noise from upstairs. People opening and closing the patio door sounded like they were sliding furniture around. What wasn't to like?!. Walking the long hallways to get to other suites. nothing. Everything was great. Not many restaurants in Hotel. Wish the fitness area was a tiny bit more private.
