The hotel building is so lovely. All carved in wood, beautifully decorated. The pool is fantastic and the staff is absolutely adorable. The room on the other hand, very disappointing. But on the looks rather than anything. It was squeaky clean which is good enough for my but for the rate (for Cambodia it was an above average price) I was expecting more. The bathroom (which is actually a wet room) could use some improvement. Nevertheless it had a very comfortable bed, great aircon an super clean.

Beautiful rosewood furniture and carvings, white polished tile floors.The rooms are spacious with A/C & Fan, and fridge, lovely bed and furnishings. The staff are friendly and helpful for everything. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool with great food at the restaurant. Really cannot fault this place, I just got bored with the limited choice of breakfast (included in tariff) after a few days, but not a complaint. Okay 1 was ideally located. It was right in the proximity of the city centre where one can take a stroll there. The staff was absolutely fabulous and courteous. The facilities are without flaw and enabled us to stay in comfort. The rooftop bar, pool etc was great for daytime or night-time relaxation. I highly recommend this as the number 1 stay in Siem Reap. Very friendly staff, nice Cambodian style hotel with very big rooms, good location, great food and coffee with vegetarian and vegan options. The roof top bar/pool area was great and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. Wifi, tv, a/c, fridge, kettle all work well. The employees are very friendly, nice! great atmosphere, clean rooms, excellent swimming pool! me and my friends feel like at home everyday back from a long walking in angkor, swimming pool can see the beautiful sunset at around 6pm. everything is awesome!. I didn’t mind the location as I only stayed 2 nights and 1 day only so I only been to the Pub street once but, if you are staying for longer in Siem Reap you will end up spending an extra 6-8 dollars a day with Tuk-Tuks. As I mentioned, the bedrooms could be better for the price charged. There is nothing I didn't like about this place. Massage room could be more private. Some restaurant staff could do with a few English lessons :) Breakfast should have more variety and fruit. Staff could have better knowledge of local tours/attractions. Some noise from outside our room window, but not a big problem. Not a peoblem for us but the hotel is a good 20 minute walk from the main restaurants and bar area. Or a short tuk tuk ride :-). Very poor and not so good breakfast, when you have it in price of hotel. Took 3 days to get laundry back...and it was damp. Staff sometimes slow or just forget my requests. nothing in particular. Nothing. Position was a bit far out of town, too far to walk, and each tuk tuk charges $2 to get there and $2 back. It doesn't sound like much, but when you travel back and forth twice a day like us, it adds $8 a night to your stay, at a place which is already quite expensive for Cambodia. There are probably less expensive places closer to the centre of town, and although I liked this place, I would definitely stay elsewhere next time. Had some problems with the heater and the door, pretty hard to open. Very bad food, breakfast had to be negotiated in order to be sufficient, noisy neigbourhood, expensive tuk-tuk guidance (we got much cheaper doing it ourselves), several power outages, instable wifi, no heardryer,shampoo etc even if announced in the hotelguide in the room,... maybe this hotel was previously one to recommend, our impressions was that they did everything to destroy that reputation. To be avoided!!!. Hotel photographs on internet and actual are not looks same, location is also not good. Breakfast were always cold, not look fresh and daily repeating.
