Everything At our arrival we received free welcome drink and a 15 minutes free massage for Casa Angkor Spa. Staff was very kind and helpful. While we were doing check out a person of the staff controlled that we didn't forget anything in our room. Rooms are nice, intimate and well furnished. Bed is very comfortable! Nice also the swimming pool. Position of the hotel is perfect! 3$ tuc tuc from Pub Street or 5 minutes walk. Next to the Hotel also a big shopping center. Free bike rental for 2 hou.
all reviews » 1. The staff is friendly and really really helpful and good smile; 2. The wifi coverage is great, whole area of the hotel can use the wifi service, which is out of my expectation; 3. Free massage coupon is lovely, especially most of visitors to Siem Reap should have visited Angkor area, foot massage is so nice to clear all the tireness. This is very beautiful hotel on a good walking distance from the city center. The staff was very friendly and they allowed us to take a shower in the middle of the afternoon on the day of our check out as we had to catch a flight back to to Europe after spending the whole day visiting the temples. There was a complimentary 15 minutes massage included on our stay. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of asian and western food available. The hotel is cosy and it has quite central position all being in a very calm area (10 min walk to the market and the pub street). The simming pool is not very big but very nice with a mini tropical garden. The sfaff is nice and friendly. The prices for coctails and massages are very reasonable. After 3 long tiring flights, all we wanted was to take shower & rest. Luckily the thoughtful lady manager offered us 15 mins of free feet massage in the hotel spa which was wonderful. Hotel staff (quite English friendly), pool open late (11pm), food was quite good (despite other reviews, we tried, and it's above average), bed was comfortable, room was clean, washroom was well equipped. Value for money, clean and tidy. Good location, free Internet. 1. The air-con seems not function really well, even I turned to the lowest temperature, still not really cool inside the hotel room; 2. I understand it's so so hot in Siem Reap throughout the year, but still, better to have hot water offered in the bathroom. The bath tube curtain is not good enough to prevent the water from leaking to the bathroom floor. Nothing very important. May be the only thing is that the breakfast could be more veried and the wi-fi connection is slow. A little bit far from shops etc. Staff cannot speak english. Staff doesn't speak good english. But I guess thats problem in entire Cambodia & not just hotel. Location - did not know the area well, it was not as "close" to pub street area as we would've liked, but this is very minor compared to everything else. Staff communication a little hard at times. Many rooms on the 4th floor are located near the hotel's laundry which kept me awake. However, the hotel management changed my room... Some of the rooms at this hotel have little or no daylight - ask for a sunny room!.
