all reviews » Even the basic rooms are luxurious, the spa district has everything - open, closed pool, sauna, steam, ice, cold small pool. The massage is simply the best - the woman has 40 years of experience. Don't miss the massage! Perfect for hiking as the paths start basically from the hotel. Restaurant food is good. Excellent spa experience. Everything was perfect, except for the suite temperature. We had to ask for a supplementary heater, which was immediately delivered. The staff are real professionals, very kind and helpful. The cuisine is at a high level. We had a very nice and relaxing vacation. Fantastic location amidst pine trees on a hillside overlooking Velingrad; calm and relaxed atmosphere - real fire blazing in the lobby, plenty of comfy leather sofas; excellent service and great food; lovely large indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel is situated at a great location. We stayed in a luxury DBL room which was really nice and spacious. The swimming pool is probably the best in town. The staff is very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The room was spacious,perfect cleannest,great spa and the opendoor pool was great.Receptionists were very helpful,fast organized & friendly.We liked also that the hotel was near the lake. Chipped off dishes at breakfast,breakfast variyety and food quality could be better for 4 star hotel,temperature for dry and wet sauna is to low(ABOUT 60 degrees celcius?),to stuffy air in the internal pool,somewhat loud music at the times in the internal pool,room was not vacume cleaned daily. Road to the hotel is like a walk in the moon - lots of craters. Creepy unfinished building nearby.The staff weren't very nice at moments . Our only grumble was that the buffet breakfast wasn't up to 4* standards - poor quality juice, coffee, and muesli...but the gorgeous view from the breakfast room made up for it... Not a single thing, whatsoever. The breakfast is not for 4* hotel,also the food in the restorant was not at the level of all the rest services within the hotel. stability of the internet network. poor quality of some of the breakfast products. Not enough conditions for kids carts moving. Breakfast: not for the level of the hotel; "low cost" coffee and juices, that is shame. If you don't hav a car, you have to take a taxi every time you go to city center and back. Breakfast - the choice is quite limited. The Breakfast was not served well and the presentation requires further attention - labelling the jam, the juices, and replenishing the food until 10 am. Also the breakfast should last till 10.30 as it is a SPA. shower overflowing into toilet area. Restaurant is too expensive... I did not like my room in the ground floor. No manicure and pedicure services. We do not have any problems. the staff was like a lottery, some of them were friendly but others we got the impression that we disturb them in there small talks. The restaurant could be better for a four star hotel. We had to go to other places to have lunch and dinner because of the low quality food there. out door pool is not hot to soak in all year around.
