The lovely rooms are very clean and comfortable with new modern bathroom/toilets, radio/clock, hair dryer new furniture & additional bedding if needed. Yordan is a perfect host who gives a pickup from airport service and can order hot food if required. Yordan is fluent in english french and I believe german too and he is very helpful. Avel is excellent value for money and the rooms are very nice. Avel is situated very close to the airport and there is a No. 18 bus service which takes you.

I was very happy that he picked me up at the airport since taxis there can often overcharge tourists.The facility was very clean and comfortable. While not in the city center, it was easy to get there by a trolley bus. It's located in a safe neighborhood. Overall, I was very happy with this Guest House and highly recommend it for anyone looking for budget accommodations in Sofia!. It was a perfect guest house for our last night before flying home! Close to the airport, so we didn't need to drive anymore with our car into the centre of the city. There is a nice garden, where we could stay and relax. The owner was very warm and kind, offered us some wine - so we didn't have to go to the supermarket - and we had a nice talk with him in the garden. The guest house is as descriped in letsbookhotel.com, so we got what we expected and were happy!. Yordan the owner was very friendly and extremly helpful in all aspects of my stay, from recommending the sofia free tour (excellent) to picking me from train station and taking me to the national museum the guesthouse was clean very comfortable and out of the way of the centre but not that far to get into the centre itself. Location is great, inbetween the city + the airport. Excellent value, nice clean rooms, + kitchen area is useful. Yordan (your host) is extremely helpful, he showed me the local shops + gave me a lift to the airport at a bargain rate. I highly recommend Avel guesthouse :). The new owner is an awesome guy who took me for a tour of the city at night. the rooms are clean and excellent value for money considering that it is within reach of the airport and city center. Will def stay here on my next visit to Sofia. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He even bring you to the city or to the airport. The location just uitside the crawdy city is perfect. Just 10 min to the airport. Rooms are nice. relatgively closed to the airport, scrupulously clean and friendly, very helpful staff;kitchen use, garden sitting place - very good ofrfer-price relation. The owner was very helpful, even collected us from the bus station and next day dropped us at the airport. Very friendly and helpful. I have few complaints if any. Avel is situated in the Poduaine area to the east of the city which is not particularly attractive but the service received from Yordan and his very pleasant mum far outways the area. Customers should not be put off by the area. Really nothing!. none. The kitchen outside should be cleaned.
