Loved the visit to Plovdiv. Very nice old city. Hotel was in a good location. Staff were very friendly and were able to help me organise my onward journey to Istanbul. Facilities in the hotel were good. I used the gym, restaurant and lobby bar. I'd recommend a visit to the History Museum in addition to visting the old town. Certainly like to return to Plovdiv and to the hotel. This is an excellent and very solid hotel that is clearly underrated by your reviewers. Perhaps if they were paying the full rack rate for the rooms they might feel they were getting poor value for money. My room was excellent - but not perfect - and offered great views over to the Roman amphitheatre in the distance. Recommended.
