all reviews » The service at the concierge desk was very helpful and very competent. Same is true for the service at the front desk. The suite was superb, the upstairs and downstairs staff polite, kind and efficient. Everybody tries to do their best. Very good location, beautiful view, breakfast, beautiful concreat architecture, little garden and pool. Great service. If they make a mistake is on overdoing it. I would go back, but not on a business trip. The quality of the hotel will start alredy from the entrance. Personal and location was the best. They gave me a better room (upgrade). Great pool and outdoor restaurant. Excellent service. Good location. Nice and friendly staff. Good well equipped rooms. the Spa. everything was average. - No free water in rooms - Laundry service rediculously expensive especially when travelling for a long time. There was a willingness by telephone operator to assist in reducing the cost but housekeeping manager was not available and matter was not followed up. . Rooms need attention quickly, stains in the drapes, little details that begin to show wear and tear. Engineering should look into right away, and management shall invest in keeping up before it's too big to mend. Overall the hotel is turning from offer/value ratio to expensive...two different things. The prices are a crazy in Sao Paulo at the moment. This happens in Brazil just before a financial collapse. It is not the fault of the hotel directly, it's the system. Wifi not free. It is not for a business trip were you expect efficiency and to know your costs in advance. In a business trip you probably want to have breakfast, internet and your gym arranged, available and not be billed separately for them. It cost around R$150/day additional to have these services. Terrible service at the main restaurant if you're seated outside. Room next to elevator - very noisy! Not enough checkin/out counters - waiting time. Food was expensive and whilst nice, not worth it's asking price. slow response on check in and check out. - icecream horrible - WIFI paid??? super slow... ridiculous.
