  the hotel is very close to an area with some nice restaurants and bars. the staff was very helpful, they have an afternoon soup for a snack. ocean is right across the street. but there are better locations with better beaches. we just took the bus or taxi to them. - The staff were all very helpful and made every effort to help when possible.

  The hotel is located very close to the main bus station (Rodoviaria) in Salvador and a big shopping mall. Therefore, the location is great if you need to connect to a bus. Otherwise, the area is rather ugly. The facilities are rather basic, but new and good quality for the price.

  Hotel rates were resaonable and the hotel itself was in good condition. Don´t expect caviar but the basics were good. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Location was pretty good although not on the beachfront. - Comfortable rooms, excelent location between Pelourinho and Barra.

  The hotel owners, an extremely friendly Italian couple creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious and has every day another surprise. The location is great and you can easily walk to the center or to the peaceful Santo Antonio. I traveled by myself and certainly recommend the area and the hotel for female single travelers... what people say » as well as couples. - The Studio do Carmo hotel is a fantastic charming hotel, well situated, in the historic center, but away from the noise.   The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location is good, away from the central bustle and noise of central Pelourinho but near enough to fall part of it. The outside areas of the Pousada are very nicely maintained, with a good sized smimming pool and lawn area. My rook was spotlessly clean, with air conditioning, TV and fridge.
