The location is the plus. It's right at the Largo do pelourinho. If
you stay in a dorm room facing the square, you can see daily lives
happened in the square.
An airport pickup would drop you off in front of the hostel.
The breakfast is the best I've ever had in my entire Brazil trip. Bread, Ham, Cheese, Scrambled Eggs, Fruits, Juice and Coffee.

The location is absolutely incredible, you're in the middle if the Pelourinho, owners and staff are amazing, they immediately make you feel at home, among friends. Breakfast became the best part of teh day, drinking coffe with the view of the largo do pelourinho, discussing the daily plans with other guests and staff. Absolutely amazing!.

Nice location right in the heart of historic downtown. Cute hostel, very colorful and nice views from the windows. The staff had good enough grasp of english (some weren't hugely fluent).
Great location in Largo do Pelourinh, the pousada is full of colors, cheap, has breakfast and it's a very nice place to live! Staff was wonderful, I would highly recommend it!.

The ceiling fan is not working in my room. Lack of wall outlet in a
room. If the room is fully occupied, you may not have a free outlet to
charge your electrical devices.
The shared bathroom on the third floor is missing a mirror. Nothing to hold my soap and shampoo in this bathroom.
There's no video camera to monitor who ring the bell. When a bell is rang, staff usually press the button to unlock the door downstairs.

The location is great, but so far it is theoretically dangerous at night. Obviously, the fact that some rooms have no window is not great, but it's said before and due to the old construction.
