Leila and Luiz are fantastic hosts. They make you feel at home in their house and help out willingly and effectively. The location is very unique, located between the city center and South part of town, it's possible to reach any part of Rio quickly. 10 minute walks lead you to busses, a very famous statue or an often filmed and safe favela. My girlfriend and I feel extremely lucky to have stayed with Leila and luiz.
all reviews » The owners Leo & Leila have just opened their beautifull family home to guests. I felt lucky to have come across this lovely family residence before they become to popular. I felt a welcome guest of the family rather than a customer. Leo & Leila went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. I very much look forward to coming back hear in the futcher. We had a great stay at the guesthouse of Luiz and Leila. They make you feel at home and help out when you need anything. They have delicious breakfast, nice and comfortable rooms, fast wireless internet in every room, even at the pool. We could use the kitchen to make our own food for our kid. Next time in Rio de Janeiro we sure go back to this lovely guesthouse. Best B&B we have ever stayed in. Leila & Luiz (the owners) are extremely helpful. The accommodation has been well thought out with their experience of staying in different places abroad, such as showers for people who want to use the pool after checkout/if they have a late flight. They also had the nicest breakfast during our whole holiday in Brazil. the owners are really gentle. it is a little bit highly located in a protected region. so should know about the place well to get there. but the scenery from there was wonderful.(the owners show you with there car.) the room was really clean. Felt they really cared about the food. will visit there again if i get a chance to go to Rio de Janeiro. Leila & Luiz were really really friendly and always willing to help us in every situation. It's very clean and a wonderful environment to stay and have some days to chill out!!! The neighborhood is peaceful and the breakfast tasty. Thank you a lot for 4 great days in Rio ;-). It's a beautiful house, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful and the nature around is stunning. Also the rooms were relatively big and very well furnished. Excellent family-run small hotel. Outstanding hospitality, we felt like living with friends. Very good location, close to all the popular spots in Rio. beatiful building excellent facilities wonderful personel (thanks Luiz and Leila). I really recommend staying in this B&B. The hosts Luiz and Leila were so sweet and welcoming. The bed and bathroom were really nice and bug. The whole personal interaction from the staff and the hotel experience with a good price for a lot. Deluxe room was excellent, spacious, amazing bathroom and very airy. Not much. The only thing that mite affect some people is the five minute walk up hill from the local bus stop. Even then the owners were happy to drop me off & collect me numerous times. Slightly difficult to find and uphill but two bus stops within walking distance to get to the beaches/town. could not really found. From the bus stop it's a 5-10 minutes walk up to the accomodation, BUT that's no problem at all! We felt, the hosts do everything to make you feel comfortable :-). Although the dog makes you feel safe, the barking can be a bit annoying at night. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the beach, so you need to take a taxi, but it's totally doable - just something to keep in mind. That we could not stay there longer :). nothing. Was a bit difficult to find a taxi sometimes but staff was excellent in driving down to taxi station.
