Good breakfast (it's important for a such expensive city as Rio) 4. 15 minutes by bus to Copacobana and Iponema 5. 1 minutes walking to the metro 6. Located in a safe district 7. Free baggage keeping after checkout until 3 pm. Loved the caipirinha at the hostel much nicer than the ones we tried out. Staff made our stay so pleasant they were super helpful and fixed any problems we had like a leaky toilet and lost camera cord.

English speaking receptionists, but tsometimes they give wrong information regarding sightseing, better check twice. Really good location. Very friendly owner and employees. Location is perfect. No wardrobes, you have to keep you clothe and stuff in bags. The first 2 nights we spent in a room with a leaky toilet. It was uncomfortable because the floor was always wet and the smell lingered through the whole room. It's a bit noisy, but depends on your neighbours, of course. Very small rooms, no space for the luggage, no shelfs or a wardrobe. If you want to leave your luggage there after check-out, you need to pay. The only thing we did nt like was that no room has any window which makes it kind of claustrofobic. Tiny room. The price for a double room rises significantly during festivals while the dorm prices are unchanged. room has windows just to corridor. They charged to keep our bags an extra half day, and charged us to shower after checkout. No other hostels charged us in similar situations. Limited space in the room. Cold shower. Poor value tor money. TV in the room has poor reception for most channels. Breakfast, room is without windows, very small room, you hear every person which is walking next to your room - not soundproof at all. Noisy. Rooms without windows. Not so clean. Not enough space. Accessibilty for wheelchairs. - breakfast, less various - no window in the room!!!! - a room supposed for 4 persons was way too small for even 3 of us - air condition is more or less just decoration - not soundproof - too noisy. The hostel was very noisy. Had to sleep with ear plugs in. Our room had a leaking air conditioner. We were there for four nights. We got mixed messages from staff as to whether or not it was going to be fixed - it was not. The staff were not interested at all in helping us change buckets or providing us with towels to protect our staff which would get wet if we went out. Tiniest room And bathrooom! Difficult stairs. Staff dont help too much the tourist. To make it short - the worst hostel I had in south america. Tiny rooms, the walls thin as paper - so once any of the neighbors slams a door you thing its besides ur bed. And the matresses hard as stone. As a traveler i consider myself as not piky at all but this hostrl never again. I am just curious how it could get such a high rating??.
