Bianca and Eduardo were very friendly - they even invited us to a family BBQ on the deck and cooked up some of the most delicious meat we have ever eaten. The hostel is right in amongst the locals rather than with tourists. -

The hostel view is beautiful. It's located in the middle of Rio, but it's also surrounded by nature. A family of monkeys share the brakfast with the tourists everyday. The staff is very nice and helpful. I recommend this place! -

Rick and all staff there are fantastic and really go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home.
The atmosphere is great and superb food is very close by.
I liked my stay there so much even after I had checked out and moved into an apartment in Laranjeiras I went back a week later to see them for a chat and bite to eat and ended up staying the night!
