In terms of value for money and location it was the best place we stayed in Rio de Janiero (private double room with bathroom and really good air conditioning in a convienient location). Rooms were spartan but clean, bed was very comfortable (I like a hard bed), location is right downtown so you don't have to go far to get anything. Staff were as helpful as they could be despite a significant language barrier. Very good value for what I paid and would happily stay again. -
