We had the warmest welcome to Villa Anri. Amra graciously offered to bring us a welcome drink to the roof terrace, and also brought a small snack (a drink is too wet without!) The roof terrace has a wonderful view of the famous Stari Most and old town. Villa Anri is delightfully decorated with many small treasures from days gone by. She served our welcome drink and breakfast on rooftop terrace, and took the time to talk to us about life for the locals in Mostar. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing, two types of juices, yogurt, fruit, bread, and a nice variety of meats and cheeses. Ambra set everything up for us so attractively. It was such a treat. When booking opting for the room with the rooftop terrace is a must. A truly uniq. As a solo traveler retreating to Mostar after months of intense work I found the peace that I had been needing. The staff was simply perfect! The breakfast is over-the-top fantastic. Such a variety and always tasty, local fruits and vegetables. EVERY day I was greeted with a beverage and some fancy finger foods in the afternoon. The bed was very comfortable and the suite large with my own private terrace from which to absorb the beauty of Mostar and the surrounding mountains. I cannot speak hig. We cannot speak highly enough of the helpful, enthusiastic and personal service we received during our stay. We were warmly welcomed every time we returned to the property (we stayed 2 nights) and in was not just the helpfulness in answering our questions but also the interest in just talking about life in Mostar and Bosnia. Location is great and a brilliant view of the famous bridge from the roof terrace. This is a professionally run guesthouse. Also the breakfast buffet is amazing. We made a very long trip through the country and we were super exhausted when we arrived: the staff welcomed us extremely friendly with drinks and freshly cut water melon:) - we felt like coming home! Received an email days before arrival date offering free pick up from the station. As we were not sure about which bus to take we went to the hotel by ourselves, and got free ride to the station when leaving. Got welcome drink and great breakfast(with freshly squeezed orange juice). This place is beyond our expectation in every possible way. Can't say enough-- I arrived last at night, later than expected, and I was still warmly welcomed, as the Villa had stayed open for me.. the only guest for the night! Room was large and so comfortable, with access to the terrace to overlook the bridge. In the morning, the best breakfast I've had in the Balkans was laid out for me-- again, being the only guest. Walkable to the bus station, although I took a taxi due to my late arrival time and rain at time of departure. We loved our stay at Villa Anri! This is not anything negative about Villa Anri but travelers to Bosnia/herzogevenia in general: Exchange your KM for a different currency before you leave the country- or else you might as well give it away- NOBODY exchanges KM in the whole world!. A shower curtain would be helpful for preventing the bathroom floor getting wet. Water could have been warmer, but was comfortable enough for a quick shower. Nothing to not like!!. I could only stay one night as I had a flight to catch... Wifi reception from the second floor and above is a bit weak. Everything was just perfect!. N/A. Nothing. Nothing. It was perfect. We loved everything about it!!. It's not much to complain about, but what I maybe missed was a minibar or something where one could keep cold drinks. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Ventilation in bathroom could be improved.
