The hotel is beautifully designed to replicate a colonial pueblo. The courtyard is a tranquil oasis, and from the upper patios there are beautiful views of the skyline of Sucre. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast has a great variety, with omelettes prepared to order, and is served in a cozy dining room overlooking the city. The location of the hotel is very good - on a relatively quiet street, just a few blocks from the plaza princip.
all reviews » We have been travelling more than 7 months in South America. It was one of our best stays if not the best! We especially recommend room 34. It is a boutique hotel with great value for money! Rooms are clean,spacious and luxurious. Location is perfect,breakfast is superb with fresh pancakes and omelette, not to mention all the other staff. There is also a small garden with benches, some computers, nice sitting-room,wifi is stable which is rare for Bolivia and there is great view over Sucre. Staf. Unbelievable value for the money! This is a beautiful property of a restored colonial mansion in the center of Sucre. The hotel boasts spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good size bathrooms, lovely gardens and it provides a beautiful view of the old colonial town of Sucre. It's on the quiet part of the street and is just 4 blocks away from Plaza 25 de Mayo, the main square of Sucre. Breakfast was fantastic, compared to the other places we have stayed in this country. Loved this hotel and did not. This was a beautiful hotel! Walking in off the street it felt like an oasis right in the middle of the city. Complimentary drinks helped as well! It was quiet and peaceful. The gardens and fountain gave it a romantic feel in the evenings. The rooms were the nicest I've seen in this price range and there was even a well-stocked and affordable mini-fridge. We would definitely stay there again. The hotel was simply excellent. Might be the best value hotel I've ever stayed in! The courtyard is very beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. For example the scrambled eggs with fillings of your choosing were icing on the cake. This is far and away the best hotel we have stayed in. 5plus star luxury and service. We cannot sing its praises highly enough. Staff was really attentive at all times. All our requests were considered and treated accordingly and efficiently. Rooms are great and spacious. 5 mins walk from main square, location is perfect. Extremely supportive staff and owner / architecture / cosy rooms with twin shower / extensive breakfast with roof top view on city / our best experience in Bolivia / a must-do. Not a deal breaker, but we had the "Do not disturb" sign on our door while we ran errands around town after breakfast. Unfortunately, we came back after being gone for an hour to find the maids making up our room. Why have a door sign then?. We stayed in room number 14, which was right next to the grounds keepers and maids laundry and supply room. They start work before 7am, which made it noisy. I would ask to avoid that room next time. Nothing. All was good. Only two comments: coffee at breakfast could be better, and blind curtains in the rooms would keep the room dark when sunrise. Common areas not protected from cold due to open structure (in winter time).
