Great hotel & great service located next to the Train Station of Leuven. Though city train station areas normally tend to be a little shabby this word does not apply to Leuven central station. The hotel building is quite new, and the train station is renovated. The neighbourhood is more then ok and from the hotel you have quick access to the city center. It takes a 600m walk to park your car for free. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
all reviews » Ik vond het een super hotel. Het ligt direct achter het station, is alleen wat lastig te vinden op de tomtom dus laat je goed informeren hoe er te komen. Verder een mooi hotel met design lobby. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Wij kwamen later in de middag aan maar er stond zo een extra bed klaar. En de matrassen sliepen erg fijn en dat hoor je mij niet snel zeggen want ik ben daar meer dan kritisch over. Ik kom zeker terug. The room is clean and nice. The staff is helpful and friendly. The decoration is colorful and cosy.The breakfast is excellent, there are so many choices and it is delicious. The location is perfect for travelling to the airport the next day. This hotel is close to train station and the train to the airport runs every 20-30 minutes. Check-in and check-out process is quick. Location was ideal. Hardly 50 meters from the Leuven railway station. A pedestrian bridge connects the hotel and railway station. A huge parking lot underneath the hotel is very practical. On a normal working day, parking costs about €20 for 24 hours. On Sunday/Public holiday about €10 for 24 hours. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If we had known the proximity of Leuven and the Park Inn to Brussels International Airport (a 25 minute train ride 2-3 times an hour) we would have stayed in this beautiful town instead of Brussels before heading to the airport. Staff was very firendly, they were also helpfull to the guests. Our room was clean, bedsheets and linnens were also clean. When we checked out, they asked if there is something sholud be improved or changed. This is good because they care their guests opinion. Located adjacent to Leuven central train station, doesn't get much better than this. It takes 12 minutes by foot to get to the centre of Leuven but there is plenty to do along that walk. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. It was extremely clean and full of light! Usually is quite expensive thank to n offer of booking we payed less than half the price. You can reach the center in 10 min walking. The car park costs around 15/20 euros for each day. Staff was absolutely fantastic. It was our first night ever in Europe and the staff went far above the call of duty. They were cordial, friendly and very helpful. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable. I arrived only to discover that I had mistakenly booked for the wrong month! They were able to accommodate me and did so without any fuss whatsoever - and agreed not to charge me for the original booking. The hotel has a fresh look at modern comfort and facilities. It offers an excellent open buffet breakfast. Its location near the railway station turns out to be its advantage, as well. We had a great time. I would prefer to have a gardrope or a cupborad for clothes instead of shelves. Cannot think of any problems!. The matress of the baby crip was very thin, so my son slept with us in a bed. No minibar. You have to wait for coffee in the breakfast. Overpriced breakfast. I did not like that there was no body lotion, toothpaste provided for the customers. When I asked for an adapter I was asked to come down 6 floors to collect it, instead of sending somebody to deliver it to my room. I did not like that there was no fridge in the room with some fruits, nuts and drinks. Had problems with the WiFi in the room paid for this facility however on several occasions couldn't log on as "Too many people were logged on" Although they detucted the fee at the end of my stay it was inconvenient and frustrating. nothing really :-). Breakfast is expensive. No parking at the hotel. Had to use train station car park and pay €13 per night. nothing. I missed complementary wifi. Breakfast had great choices from cooked to "continental" breakfast but - no scrambled eggs first day - no bacon the second. When pointed out to the waiting staff it took over 30 minutes to get the items out from the kitchen. All items should be monitored to ensure basic items do not run out. U can't open the window and there is no fresh air coming in the room which also keeps dust in the room and sometimes breathing is not easy.There is not mini bar or just a fidge in the room.U can't wash your hands after using the wc before u touch 2 doors that leads you in the shower..Pillows are huge and cleaningness is at medium standards.Internet access should be free and not with extra charge since Park Inn is not a cheap hotel. Nothing. €16 buffet breakfast seemed a bit steep. I went to Panos instead. At least having it separate brought the room rate down to an affordable level. The rooms are too warm, and it is not possible to open any windows. So you have to keep the airco on all night. None. Room is a bit small but that seems to be normal there. Price for bottled water way too high. No room service. 20 euros per day parking but probably would have been the same if we had driven into Leuven to park. Nothing if not good going not in this hotel but I go now 18 months all 14 days this speak all ok nothing is bad. Although it was a buffet, I found that the personnel lacked a little bit of pro-activity (in offering coffee when our cups were empty, f.i.). Breakfast was quite good expensive for the selection. Nothing. the poor quality pillows.
