Extremely helpful in all matters. Had a parcel to wrap and was supplied with paper and tape. Great service!. clean nice gardens comfortable good breakfast. Room really bright. TV superb (not that I watched it much) Staff very helpful. Half board an asset for me not to have to travel out in the evenings although a choice of evening menu would be better for those of us with dietary issues.

We booked for one night, shower was much better then we were expecting. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was relaxed. Close to town centre, cash point and Sammy's bar within 200 yards.The welcome, helpfulness and lovely very peaceful garden to sit out in the evening, a very quiet location!. Think we must have been the only guests as we certainly didn't see any others. Clean, quiet and reasonably comfortable, it made a good one night stop-over. Lack of parking. It was a bit hard to find at first but there were signs at strategic junctions, you just had to know to look for them. Too small bathroom.Its a longish walk into the town for restaurants etc. parking could have been a problem had the hotel been busier. It was a litttle tired. The room was rather basic, the shower flooded. Small shower. Noisy occupants in next room. One way system to hotel and no free parking spaces nearby.Rooms were small and needed refurbishing. no coffe making/no hair dryer. needed refreshing. we did not like it at all. It was run down. First room had shower in room and toilet was not in a completely closed room. When the door didnt lock we were moved to a better room but it still looked jaded. Breakfast was OK but looked like running out at several times. Old, worn, ugly interior. Needs complete renewal.
