The owner was extremely helpful and provided lots of information about the area. The hotel was very relaxed but with the feel of luxury with a lovely sitting room downstairs with a bar and honesty box. Free on site parking. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Would certainly return, De Haan was a charming, old fashioned seaside resort. Loved this hotel, super creative, done with careful attention to details both in public places and rooms, nice and comfortable bedrooms (and beds), nice and very friendly owners, very good breakfast. Just wifi was very poor in our room, almost no connection, but anyway it is good in public places.

The room was a bit too small, even for a young couple. . Room to small. - too small rooms - romm was too dark - trouble the calm night by noise - dustextraction very loud in the building next door until 1 clock after midnight - 20 minutes before checkout time the towels and the soap were removed, so there was no possibility to shower anymore => that is not customer friendly.
