Need to crash, have a good nights sleep and get on with your visit or travels, without spending to much time at the hostel/hotel, and on a budget? Perfect for hostel Louise. Best gym in Brussels just steps away was an added extra. The public transportation is realy good in the city, and arond the hostel too. The room was warm, and the water in bath too. The beds are confortable and clean, but they are a little squeaky.
all reviews » Staff went all out to help me. I arrived well before the check-in time, they welcomed me, even though I wasn't checked-in. I checked-out at 5 am, they were there to help. Good spoken English. yeah~it's not bad it's better than i thought the staff was friendly and there is a supermarket and the bus station , just cross the street. That they let us sleep in the foyer for about 6 hours waiting to check in... and for that i am extremely grateful. The hostel is economical and the transportation is very convenient for Brussels beginners. Basic room with the necessary to visit brussels, the room had Tv that was very very good. Nice peolple and a portuguese guy working there.. Haha. Great service, good facilities, clean and organized!. Very good location, 5min from MIDI station. room is clean common room is large enough. Very helpful stuff, good ambient!. Nice hostel with cheap price. It was fine. If you wanna save your money then its the best accomodation to stay in brussels. Its only 25 to 30 minutes away from the city by tram. It was so warm. The water was hot and the toilets were cery clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The most important this is that the wi-fi was working properly. The area that this hostel is in is lovely. There is a lovely park and lake also a nice area to have a few drinks and some food. As I only used the hostel to sleep in this is value for money. I liked that it was 8-12 euros less than any other hostel I found. The front desk people were very friendly and nice. Not too far out of town. Easy to get where you want to go. And inexpensive. Safe place, best for students/backpackers, clean linens. Friendly staff, appropriate location, reasonable price. And you can use the kitchen that has all the tools necessary . Beds were ok.. Hostel is nice, my room was clean an spacious. Good beds ,kitchen and room for hanging out. the good thing it is near to the tram line. The corridor and other rooms are narrow, and in the kitchen aren't enough utensils and cutlery. The internet wasn't working the first night I was there. The second night I came back late, but the other travelers said it was fine. There was no closet for me to keep my private valuables in the dormitary, and I have to take them with me to go out. The kitchen was not working in my last two days of the stay. A very narrow and dark hall that looked like a prision and toiletes are terrible small and there are just two or three for a lot of people. A little bit far from the center, but it has tram to go there. Room is a little small. room and corridor was small and narrow. Too many people, Small bathroom. there are no lockers in rooms. I think there is not anything to dislike, If you are paying only €16 to get above facilities. What would you expect more? But one thing i wanna share you that is i was so confused that how to get to hostel because when i was looking for this hostel they dint show any directions on booking page that how to get there. When i booked the hostel then they sent me the directions. They should show the directions on first page not after booking. The worst thing is that on our free city map this hostel is just missed, this is not a major issue because it is not that hard to find. The hostel is not the cleanest but the cleaning girl was lovely and very helpful. I didn't like that my room had no lock--it was also about ten feet from a door which they would open for literally anyone. My things did not feel safe at all. I didn't like that the bathroom felt like it was in a construction site--incomplete, with tools and raw building exposed. The pillow was also unbelievably lumpy, but that's not such a big deal. The bathrooms were dirty and we could not get hot water on the 4th floor. Toilets could be cleaner. Small shower, not anough space even for normal person. Poor lights in room. The staff were hardly around to ask questions, the location wasn't very good and for two of us we could have paid £30 extra and gotten a nice central hotel. I usually go to hostels for the atmostphere and there wasn't any here. Not to mention nothing around there to entertain us. We stayed at the 3rd floor, while the toilets were located at the first floor. It was uncomfortable especially because our group included a young child and a senior. Shower / bathroom facilities. Bathrooms were kind of gross, bad wifi in my room. It is literally only what you need, if you expect more don't pick it. Very bad shower. Was no hot water. Light was not constant, only 5 minutes.Nobody told me about the kitchen. The heating was poor it was very cold at night. Dirty room and first day dishes was closed.serious need of renovation for rooms, shower and toilets. Facilities were quite poor and common area was closed until midday. I've been to better cheap hostels before but I guess it's the only cheap option in Brussels!. The location was a bit fair of the city and the security about the cheapest room. They dont have wifi in all the bedrooms and our room have very little conections so we ended up without batteries the whole trip.. -totally disgusting toilets and shower -no morning coffe as it was written -internet only in lobby. There is no locked rooms. Anybody can inside the rooms. And one room in eight beds. The pictures on the intranet of the room are misleading. I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I probably can't comment on this with fairness, but I will never stay at another hostel again. The staff members are not 24 hours around.During 7 am to 12 am, no internet service availabe as internet service is only available in the lounge. Too small shower, could have been cleaned better. Shower looks very bad and dirty,. but it is very narrow building and very narrow rooms and the bath its so bad also wc there is two in all building. its a bad place. Squeaky beds and floors. linens was clean , but room was really dirty. I could't find a working shower in a property.. Staff too late The place was dirty (basement) The pictures advertised said nothing about the place at all. Worst place I've been so far (after experiencing Wrocław, Warsaw, Budapest, Belgrade, Berlin and Novi Sad). Staff - no breakfast, no bed preferences and no working wifi - pathetic. Expensive, shower very small there was no cold water just very hot water so I couldn't even shower after hot day it pissed me off.... I was sharing the room with old people (45), I would prefer to stay with students or people at my age. It was not a new bulding. location is extremely poor- far from the key city center if one has meetings or work there daily. - The people that welcomed you did not explained anything, not even what the two keys were for. - The internet was not working - Just 2 toilets in the first floor!! - Just 1 shower in the first floor!!!. Far from city centre. In my room, there is no ladder to the upper bed. That's very strange. Bath room too small.
