This is a quality 4 start restaurant. New facilities, Internet isaffordable (10 eur) and the staff is very professional. One of the bestall around in Antwerp for all types of visitors. Our of the center, butgood value and easily reachable by tram. Nice clean hotel.Buffet breakfast was good value for money.Efficient, professional and modern. all reviews » we booked the "2 nights special" and stayed there for 4 nights and only cost just less than 250 euros which i thought a very good value for money..the room were very clean, comfortable, spacious and had plenty of bathroom amenities.. This was the last of four htoels stayed at during our recent trip and was by far the most luxurious of them. The location could have been better for a city trip but other than that, and excellent hotel. Excellent beds, really nice room. Great breakfast buffet. Really nice look to the place. Staff was very apologetic. Note that the rate does not include breakfast (21 euro pp) nor parking (10 euro). Very little in the immediate vicinty regading shops etc. staff at the reception were not pleasant especially the girl who dealt with us during check out..she was arrogant. Difficulty in parking. Breakfast was very expensive and no child rate. Phone on front-desk during check-in was nerve-breaking, shower wasn't really comfortable.In this day and age it is a bit disappointing not to have free internet access. The hotel charges 12 euro a day for use of its WiFi system. You have to pay ten euros per day for parking.GPS post code does not get you there........beware!. The food in resteraunt was not great. The woman managing the hotel bar was extremely rude when I enquired about cocktails on Friday night (more than an hour before the bar was closing). Shower could be improved. yes, charging 2.50 euros for toll free access (card) to dial abroad. The bar was unpleasant to sit in due to the strong smell oftobacco smoke.Too cold in the room. I thought that paying 10Euros/day or alternatively 5Euros/half hour were extremely steep considering most hostels and cheaper hotels offer internet free. Room service ordering was a very ordinary service.Rooms are a bit outworn,need for refreshing. Tub didn't drain, and few of the receptionists were less than accommodating; a long distance from the sites. Mini bar was locked first night. Not really. Only the "down: button of the elevator did not work...The public internet and computers were terrible. Everytime I logged on to my email account the hotel computer would lock up while still counting down my purchased minutes. The hotel did not charge me, but it was impossible to check in with business associates while at the hotel. You don't need to pay parking (10 euro/night) if you don't want to. There is some free parking space in the nearby. Ask reception when you arrive (otherwise they don't tell you).When I changed from a two-night stay to one night stay the price changed from Euro 72.00 per night to Euro 99.00 per night. So, that was a bit disappointing. The beds, way way to soft and to low. We think they need replacement.Hotel car park was full when I arrived at 4.00pm. I then had to parkapprox 300 metres from the hotel which was inconvenient. Bar prices very expensive. Long queues at check out. food expensive and location difficult to find. Bed mattress was too soft. Was stunned that i was asked to pay extra for wifi/internet access, these days i'd expect this to be free. broken toilets, heating is not good enough. No radio available.food was over priced, and as this is not a city centre hotel, paying extra for parking is not acceptable. Staff were unhelpful regarding requests for local information and showed no inclination to assist in such matters. Gave the impression that such requests were an inconvenience to them, despite not being particularly busy. Bar staff were unsmiling, unwelcoming and totally switched off.

Local attractions include:

- The Steen castle: Situated right at the entrance of the city centre, it was probably built in the 13th century and is therefore considered as one of the oldest buildings in Antwerp. The castle has endured numerous renovations and was utilized first as a fort, then as prison and afterwards as an Archeological Museum. The National Navigation Museum has been housed here since 1952.

- Antwerp Cathedral: Built on the foundations of a Romanesque church, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Europe. It is also one of the highest buildings in Antwerp.

- Open-Air Statuary Museum: Consisting of a 4km park that is littered with over 300 sculptures, created by artists such as Emile-Antoine Bourdelle, Auguste Rodin, Aristide Maillol, Ossip Zadkine and Giacomo Manzu.
