Slow checkoutwith people queuing, while several receptionists were busy with admintasks instead of helping at the front desk. The parking fee of 14 euros is very high. We also had a problem when trying to leave the parking area, the door would not open. We were told to use another exit, which is open anyway, but we had to find it ourselves.Well the hotel staff could be a little bit more friendly and more helpful . Also the Bathroom could have a bath tab and there was no heating which made very uncomfortable to shower there since during my stay the temperature in the city was very cold ..... Smell of cigarette smoke in passages and room. Servicearticles were poor, such as one plastic mug, one towel fromeach size (because of problems with laundry), no extras as shoepolish,creams etc. Breakfast was ok, but some things weren't availableanymore at 8 A.M. The extra bed was not made up, or a baby cot in the room. The spare pillow cases had spots of old blood on them. Spare sheet was very poor quality. On balance it was reasonable for what you paid.The receptionist did not know where the busses to Brussels airport leave! He gave us a wrong address and caused some confusion. This is basic information you should have at the reception!. Half an hour for check-in when only one people ahead of me, that's very too long. Internet access so expensive! And ask for a room on the harbour side, not on the street, so much noise!. The interiors (room, corridors, elevators) are pretty old. Or at least they look worn. the staff: We arrived at 16:00 but there were no clean rooms so we could not check in.We needed to go to be at a wedding at 17:00 so we desperately needed our room. When asked for a solution the lady simply said she could not do anything for us. This was not really the service we expext from any hotel. We ended up being late for our wedding.
