Clean through out, modern decor, Most convenient location being next to the central train station, most helpful and friendly staff, Great price, the shower cubicle and shower are exceptionally good, modern room lighting was most appreciated, clear instructions, 24 hour check in and check out, key code access to the room, Free Wi-Fi, impossible to beat this quality for this price. all reviews » Very easy to find a the far entrance to Centraal station. All the main tram and bus stops are close by, as are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways. The old part of the town around Grotemarkt is only a 20 minute walk away, or 5 mins on a tram. No late night noise outside the hotel that other people reported. This is better than the Ibis at Brugge Centraal station. The location is almost perfect, breakfasts were just as we like, although there was no wide variety, buts thats not complain. We also liked our room, comfort, clean, with air conditioning that would have been set up as we liked. 5/5 !!!. Placed in the center of Antwerp, close to the train station and to all the main attractions, comfortable and clean rooms, free wi-fi, very nice staff who answered all our questions and offered some great tips for our stay in the city. Great value and very clean. The location was pretty good. It's not close to the main sights except the station, but if it's cold you can walk through to the other side of the station and see everything. The room was clean and suitable for 3 people. We liked that the shower, toilet and basin were separate, allowing us to use different things at the same time. The hotel is also right next to a Lidl store. The mattress wasn't the greatest but this hotel either met or exceeded my expectations for European budget hotel. What I did not like about the hotel is the fact that it was advertise as rooms with air conditon but there was non, the room was too hot, had to leave the window open which allow in lots of mosqitoes and my children had lots of mosqitoes bites. Another thing is that my room was not clean at all throughout my 6 days stay in the hotel and my bed sheet was only change once which am not very happy about. Unimaginative breakfast. No Wifi in the room. Only along the corridor. Stuffy, poor ventilation even in Autumn. i chose to add the breakfast option during my stay which was a extra €7.50 euros and i wish i never bothered, very limited range of choices, in fact too little. I could had got more for my money by going to one of many cafes or food outlets in the streets. The beds were too stiff and we both had sore backs the next morning. Also there isn't a bathroom as such; the shower door opens directly into the room. In addition the shower door has a hole as a handle in it, reducing privacy even more. Checkin took pretty long. Internet was weak. Nothing. nothing, better than expected. Minimal amenities in the room but we didn't stay in the room much. Bed was hard and uncomfortable pillows. nothing, every thing was perfect. water temperature in shower was changing every 10 seconds, impossible to take a relaxing shower. Internet extremly slow impossible to work... parking the car very expensive. Smokers being selfish and coming outside to talk loudly through the night, could hear everything in full volume. the wifi connection in the room is very poor. It is really without any character, but well, it's IBIS. nothing. nothing. bigger shower. Entertainment Cable tv don't have the English channels like music or sports or movies. No teapot/cup, no drinking water. Would like some more information about how to get from the hotel and into tourist parts in Antwerp. Perhaps a small web slide show on the Ibis internet page might help. Letting visitors to know what sights they can see in Antwerp and how to get there. Noisy environment at nights in particular outside the hotel.
