Good well furnished houses that were spacious and well equipped. We were able to cook dinner for ourselves which made it very affordable. There are 3 eating options within a short walking distance, a more upmarket restaurant, a cafe type option and a chinese restaurant. There was a number to ring in case you had any problems and the staff dealt with them immediately. The bar man, Ian and the chef Sheena on site were great, they were very helpful and socialable. We had a very relaxing 10 nights .
all reviews » Awesome deal - less than 5 minutes away from the beaches, 20 minutes by foot from a beach with a snorkeling reef. House is very spacious. Air conditioning for bedrooms on the first floor and fans on the ground floor are perfect. Outside a plunge pool can cool your down whenever it gets too hot. Kitchen was huge, dishwasher and washing machine made chores a breeze. Staff is friendly and attentive, the Barkeeper Ian managed to read our minds and the chef made the best burger we had since New Z. It has been a pleasant surprise to find this modern and spacious apartment/villa, which was very well kept, clean and spacious. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly, especially Freda, Steve (Barman) and the girl chef. Very close to the beach and to the vibrant Holetown. My husband and i had an amazing time and we are considering to come back with friends in the near future. Thank you so much! Susanna Benoni. Townhouse is a great size, very well appointed and comfortable, gorgeous bathrooms and lovely private garden with jacuzzi. Perfect for families. Pool area looked very pleasant and the bar food was good, but we preferred to walk 5 mins down to the beach and the very convivial Mullins Bar. A car is pretty necessary. Battaleys Mews is a great base if you want to be near Speightstown, highly recommended. the staff were ever so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was more than we had expected. Spacious and clean. Local beach near by which was only a short walk away. Local transport within walking distance. Outstanding value for money. Spacious accommodation. Friendly staff. It was better than we expected. It was our home away from home with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The jaccuzzi, the barbecue grill, the silence, very clean, Very safe. Excellent value for money, good location, very friendly staff. Good value for money. Very pleasant. There was confusion over my room booking when I got there which took a while to sort out. Kitchen tools and plates are very basic - only small bowls and "regular" glasses for example (and of course plates, etc.). Bring along basic things like salt, pepper, oil, ... - kitchen has no basic spices, etc. Tap water is drinkable, but a filter would be nice. Sparse equipment levels in kitchen - some minor items (kitchen roll) would help. Oh, and a modern can opener. About 30-45 mins from Bridgetown. Would recommend a rental car or a hired driver to get you around town. Will also suggest that you make arrangements to have items to cook while you are there because there are no food items in the fridge. Little bit noisy at nights because of birds. Had issues with phone line over week end before leaving but staff was really helpful about this. Toilet brushes could be replaced. Minimal kitchen crockery/cutlery Difficult to see electronic gates keypad in the dark. everything was excellent. Accomodation wasnt cleaned at weekends and bank holidays. Nothing.
