Fantastic staff, great food, very nice fitness centre, spa, and rooftop terrace with pool and airport view, comfortable beds. staff very kind. restaurant offers very large variety of food and very high quality. Close to airport. Lovely roof terrace. Hotel Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated 5 minute drive from airport and it is very convenient. Nice place, very friendly and helpful staff.
all reviews » It is very close to Airport and ideally situated for people who intend to meet clients based in industrial areas around Dhaka. The room provided was very nice and comfortable. From the outside it doesn't give a good feeling but when you go to the reception the hotel seems to be very nice. The breakfast and dinner is great. Sitting at the roof top near the pool and overlooking the city lights at night really takes the tiredness away. Really had a great time very relaxing. Friendly staff. Food not bad. The location was perfect. Considering the time spent in the cars due to the traffic, location is very good, since it is very close to airport. OK gym. But yet, it is a best choice if you are not ready to pay US$300 per night. Food and swimmng pool on roof top. Polite staff. staff was very nice friendly. the fastest way out of there. Standard rooms have no windows - awful, don't even consider this option; and rooms can miss some obvious stuff eg my shower had no soap dish or any horizontal surface to place shampoo / soap so I had to place these on the ground and hit my head hard trying to retrieve one of them. room without window. In the restaurant and bars they don't serve any alcohol on Friday due to religious reason. That's ok even if I'm not muslim, but I would not expect this in an iternational 5 stars hotel. Hotel charges 15 USD for airport transfer to hotel which is in very short distance. Rooms are expensive comparing to Bangladesh standards, therefore a hotel transfer must be arranged for free. you can take a taxi out of the airport for 3 dollars one way to the hotel. Not great value for money. The food in the restaurants is expensive and is not great, neither is the breakfast. There are now local shops or hotel outlets nearby. You have to travel to Uttara or Banani which are 20-40 minutes drive depending upon the traffic. Internet signal poor and not always working. Different router on every floor. Basic room IS basic! Wallpaper coming off the walls, noisey air cond. Lack of wine selection. Renovation to floor 6 during my stay, extremely noisey! Had to move from floor 9 to 13 Exec room still very noisey! Not 5 star!!. No free drinks! Stay away from the mini bar!. It is a rather 3+* hotel. I stayed in a room without windows, everything is very old, bed is very soft and not comfortable. Room with no window. TV is 1980s, very old. Room wasn't clean properly. made complain and then change the room but house keeping staff did not clean properly. dirty duvet cover and 4 day's same linen no change. it not 5 start hotel i say. bad smelly coming from bathroom .no top up toiletries. it is never a five star hotel, it is a disgrace with the ruddest reception staff i have ever known, it is dirty, full of mosquitos, stale old breakfast food. rooms with no windows. how can a five star hotel have rooms with no windows. everything is an added extra including a window. this is without doubt the worst hotel i have ever stayed in with an absent management that chose to hide from the clientel. guests were comparing mosquito bites..
