Superb hotel with exceptional kind & friendly service + staff, real 4-stars hotel on valuable price. I would like to "reward" Christina (short hair lady at the front desk) she was extremely kind & helpful on my requests. We arrived one hour before check-in time and we could occupy our room, We asked late check-out (1 PM) and it was free of charge. Minibar was empty, however we used it as a fridge for own food :) Breakfast is delicious, big selection of cold/warm foods. Hotel is 2-min w.
all reviews » The hotel was very clean, great roomsize, great TV, really awesome big kingsize bed. I needed to go to a pharmacy on a sunday and the staff at the reception was very helpful with finding the closest one. Although the best part was that the subway station was super close as well as shops and bakerys. Transport is easy and the city perfectly accesible within a couple of minutes. Would always stay there again. The location was excellent. I was travelling by train from Munich to Vienna main station. I could reach the hotel in 5 minutes on foot. Also, there was airport express bus at the station, so it was so easy going to the international airport for my next destination. Moreover, metro station was just in 3 minute walking distance. Although it was so convennient, the hotel has quiet neighbourhood. We injured our stayed in this hotel. It was nice, quite, clean & comfortable. The staff was very nice & helpful when we asked for information. We really appreciate their help. The breakfast was good as well with verities. The location was amazing, close from the westbanhof train station obb and the shopping & restaurant area but away from the noise. Sure I will go back again. The hotel is located very close to metro station (U-bahn), train station (Westbahnhof) and the walking street Mariahilfer Straße. Cleanliness and comfort level are excelent. We liked the location of the hotel - it was very near the train station and subway stops so transportation was a snap. Also, even though we were in a pretty busy area of town, we did not have any problems with noise inside the hotel. The receptionist, Bibiana, is very friendly, responsive and provided excellent information about places to visit. When we reported that the toilet flush did not work, she immediately remedied that by giving us a different room plus an access to the business room to "cure" our disappointment. For drivers the hotel has its own parking garage at the basement so it was very convenient. We also liked its affordability and location. It was also refreshing to get English news channels on tv here as the other hotels that we'd stayed in in Austria had non-English channels. The personnel is helpful for explaining the area and the map. This is a new hotel very close to Wien Westbahnhof station, isn't particularly expensive but has decent modern rooms. If you must find something maybe that the wifi wasnt free of charge. During my stay, the air-conditioning system of the room broke down, so I had to use an electric radiator for keeping warm at night. Nothing. Wi-Fi is not free of charge and the computers in the lobby are really slow when browsing the Internet. The only thing we really didn't like was that we felt a bit "nickel & dimed." This was supposed to be a 4 start hotel in the middle of Vienna, but it did not have free wi-fi in the rooms (there were 3 computer terminals in the lobby, but they were constantly busy). Also, we were told we would be charged for local calls from our hotel room to other numbers in Vienna!. No free wifi, you need to pay (this must change) but there are 3 computers in the lobby that you can use them for free. There is no free WiFi in the hotel. The breakfast is great, but for additional fee. Room a bit too small. The room was small, and we barely had enough space for to leave two pieces of luggage open. Water leaked out of the shower area despite the glass door being fully shut, causing a puddle right outside the shower door. Car parking charge was high (but typical for Vienna). The entrance of the parking underneath the hotel is so incredibly narrow. We don't have a big car but we barely made it in and out without scraping a wall. Just something you should be aware of if you have a bigger car then a Fiat Grand Punto. Also, you need to pay for wi-fi, which is a bit old fashioned. internet is expensive, it's cheaper to buy a local line from a shop next to the hotel. A bit overpricy for what it offers. No free wifi. Internet!!!! I mean come on people it's really unbelievable that in 2013 and in a city like Vienna you have to pay for Internet in the hotel and it's not coming cheap either! Also the breakfast although it was very good was a bit pricey on 13€ per day per person. Paying for wifi a rip off. wifi in the room cost 9 eur/24 hours. It should be free or max. 5 eur/24h. I always comment negatively on hotels which don't have free internet access. I believe nowadays, providing a free wifi for the guests is a prerequisite, just as hot water in the bathroom is, especially for guests who stay for business purposes. There is no free wi-fi in hotel. I think that management should review this. Free wi-fi is a standart even for small hotels in Greece and Russia. 8 euros for 24 hours wi-fi little bit strange. We booked twin room, but initially got double room. Fortunately it was possible to change. There are little stairs in the corridor, so you will have to lift you luggage. Expensive internet. 3 free computers near reception were always busy. No free WiFi at any location. Even the hold provides 3 computers for guests to use, it is long queue to be able to use internet for checking something. It is very inconvenience. The bathroom was the smallest I ever saw in my life, literally. The parking was also very small and narrow and not so cheap either. The WIFI is expensive. None. Internet was only free on computers downstairs. Nothing. There is no slipper at the rooms. Small size of room. Tiny bathroom. When using the sink, my shoulders touched the shower wall on one side and the bathroom wall on the other. the temperature of the heating was centrally fixed so we could not turn on the heat more than a certain level. A certain funny smell (maybe the cleaning products they use?), glass bathroom door that don't close all the way don't convey a sense of privacy while doing Nr. 2. The bathroom was a bit small, and the wifi was not free anywhere. The breakfast room was not big enough to suit all the people, people had to wait in line to be seated for breakfast on our last day. The bathrooms. Sliding glass doors do not allow for much privacy. Internet was not included in price, it could be. I did not like the sairs between the elevator and my room as my suitcase was rather heavy but luckily there were very few steps and a nice stranger to help. Let all the problems in life be like this one;))). Single user access to WiFi. Could have free wifi and more tv programs, they are all in german language. We sent an email 12 hours before we arrived the hotel, asking the directions to reach the hotel from the train station. But they replied after 1 day when we checked out the hotel. Internet in rooms should be free these days. Impolite behavior and bad mood of the head waiter ruined my whole day in Vienna.
