Everything the staff was great, the room was clean, big, comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. And it was just far enough out of the city center, to be quite. They even let you keep your things at the reception after you check out if you are not leaving until later in the day. We enjoyed everything!! Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet provided each morning.all reviews »
Very friendly staff, included an excellent breakfast buffet, clean room, great price, siteseeing tour, easy access to transit system. very nice, very comfortable, the stuff were very good. Position on the map, ground floor interior, ... closeness to the center of city. Relaxing in a lovely warm room. Bed, staff and breakfast.Near to public transport. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station and only a few minutes to the city centre. A few comments made in reviews about the area were of concern as I was travelling alone but I felt quite safe walking back from the station in the evening on my own and the fresh free coffee and cake on offer in the bar area was a nice surprise at the end of a long day sightseeing.Good location, 5 min. walk from Wien Praterstern railway/subway station - easy access both to the airport and the city center. Friendly staff. I liked the comfortable quiet room.Friendly staff and and good service. The Breakfast. No it was a great hotel. Room was getting hot, even on relatively cold days.Even if it is a non smoking hotel, it smells like cigars pretty bad. I suppose it can't be helped but the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. They allow smoking in the lobby. no bar to relax in the evening. It would be better if the bathrooms were a little bigger in size... but this cannot be change... despite this.... I would be there again. Is easy to get to on the train system but one of the nearby stations is in a bit of a dodgy area (Prater) better to go to the station between the city centre and the hotel. Too hot at 12:00, too cold at 8:30, no temperature control, too few thing to choose from for breakfast. No airconditioning, noise, size of daughter's room. Breakfast was exactly the same each day, but this was just a minor inconcenience.The room was a bit hot, so the window should have been open a lot. In winter it wasn´t such a big problem. Maybe in a hot summer this could be a bit annoyig. Again, the rooms became very warm and with the windows open we couldhear people snoring at night and the staff preparing breakfast inthe morning.No internet connection in the room. The rooms were quite hot and were not air conditioned.Common areas were too smoky. For the price did not have aircondition this was unconfortable., to hot.some sound from the street if you open the window which you will do most of the time since there is no air condition. there was only one TV channel in english . we stayed for 7 nights but bed linen was not changed. There are a couple of strip clubs relatively near the hotel. Although this didn't affect our stay, guests with children may want to take this into consideration. The 5th floor rooms would need air-conditioning or at least better ventilation.We were leaving the hotel at 6.00. Fyl in spite of the information about the service of this hotel they didn't oferred us packed brackfast. It was offered to take something in the restaurant in the previouse morning and put it in the fridge - nonsense!.
