It was close to West station, just 10min walk. I stayed a single room on the 4th floor, very quiet, comfortable to stay. There were 3 shared showerrooms on the 4th floor so always not busy to use. I didn't have breakfast there. But they serve it from 8Euro in spacious area. I was planning to travel to Czech Republic for 1week from Wien and come back same hotel. I asked them to keep my big laggage until I came back. I was worrying to ask them at first coz 1week was little bit long... But they a.
all reviews » I liked the location for the evening concert in Stadthalle. Next to the shopping street Mariehilfe strasse, also U-bahn stations U3 and U6 are near which take you to the city center. Centre is around half an hour of a walk away on a busy street, so I recommend U-bahn. Nice bathrooms and showers and a sink in a room for 2 which is awesome. Would recommend and will stay again. Everything was clean, modern and fresh. Shared facilities were clean and comfortable. Free computer/internet. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Close to the West Railway Station. A tram stop is in front of the hostel and underground station is also very close. The city center is easy and quickly reachable by the public transport. My rooms was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. i had really great sleep there. There was sink in the room. I was given a towel and bathrobe which i think is really nice idea. I liked how the room was decorated. I booked a room with shared bathroom but they were close to my room and very comfortable to use. I felt at home at Kaiser 23. I was able to catch up on emails, slept very comfortably in a beautifully , simply decorated room. The shared bathroom and toilet facilities was no problem and the provision of white towelling dressing gowns made the trip down the hallway easier. The breakfast was super. The Hungarian receptionist girl was very friendly :) The room's furnishing is basic but it was enough for 1 night. The location is great, very close to U-Bahn stations and Mariahilfer Strasse. Even though there are shared bathroom and toilet, they were very clean and I never had to wait. The place is located at the very near center of Wien, it was very easy to reach the main destinations. Only one toilet for men and one for women, both in the same room and cubicles next to each other. for me because i am small reaching the toilet was for me a Problem, i mean sitting on the toilet was the Problem because it was so high. there was only wifi in the reception area nothing in the rooms which was annoying. especially if your like me and you want to watch something and eat at the same time. Can be quite noisy with the wooden floors and proper keys. Outside the rooms it is tiled, when people were coming and going from other rooms it was noisy. 8 euro breakfast is too expensive for what they offer. Our room faced the street, which was very loud...and it was hot in the building so leaving the window open resulted in major street noise, but closing it made our room super stuffy. The noise from the kindergarten. No tv in room. The room was a little smaller than expected, but that's struggling to find a negative! I didn't need much space!. wifi. Room is too hot during the summer season, if air condition or fan, will much better!. Room was odd shape! No hot water for my cup of tea!. 1. Shared WC is a little bit far away from room, especially when the light in pulic area was broken. it is a litthle bit dark and not convinient in the night. Walls are very thin and it can be hard to sleep at night: you can hear doors opening and slamming closed. Breakfast was too expensive for such a very simple one. No Wifi available in room. Wi-fi is only available in common places. Seemed to be undergoing renovation when we were there so builders made noise from early on but soon enough this wouldn't be an issue!. wifi only works in the reception area, and it's an uphill climb to the hostel, it might be a little inconvenient for those with heavy luggages. Internet is not good... Only access from the lobby. Cannot get it from the room. Even from the lobby, wifi is not stable at night... yet, you can use a computer in there instead. Cleaning lady waking us up at 10am... Would be better to have the possibility to keep the room until 12 (but it was not possible). The wifi connection not cover the rooms, only the reception area. The toilets are a bit too far from the rooms. No toilet!.
