The hotel was central, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, with a hot choice cooked to order. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in and would recomend it to anyone going to that area everything was top class no faults at all very well done. Everything by far the best hotel we stayed at on our holiday very friendly staff very clean and not the most expensive one we stayed at.

Hotel information details

The inn was first mentioned in documents in 1476. It is thus one of the oldest buildings in St. Wolfgang and served as a hospice for pilgrims and a brewery at that time. In 1694 a bakery was also opened in the building. The additional name “Seeböckenhaus” was then added to the inn’s name.
