We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. You couldn't want for more from a hotel. The staff was amazing and willing to answer any questions we had and helped us find our way around Salzburg. Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the hotel.

As far as I could tell, platters were not refilled as they got cosumed which I thought was inappropriate and unfair to the guests who chose to sleep in a bit later. nothing really but if i have to find something, well they do not have a "bidet" in the bathroom. The rooms could have more light. Appearance of the hotel from outside can be more developed. It looks little dark and doesn't look as good as inside.When I booked the room I had requested a room that did not have a door to an adjoining room. I was given a room with an adjoining door. Breakfast. I expected a lot, but it was little disappointed.It was disappointing not to have been able to eat dinner in the hotel on Sunday evening - we were offered recommendations of other restaurants:-( Breakfast suitable for meat lovers... Smoking room in lobby meant whole hotel smelled of smoke. Our booking with the hotel was not recorded. We were lucky that a roomwas available when we checked in. no high-speed internet connection. They charge too much for wireless internet access. At this day and age this should be a free service. A little bit dark room, old equiped bathroom. Unwelcoming wait staff in restaurant. Confusing and difficult access tothe spa/gym area. Absence of tea/coffee facilities in room.

Travelling information

by car: Take the highway-exit "Salzburg-Mitte", go direction center, always straight ahead, about 3 km. After having passed the bridge over the river "Salzach" you will find us after the 2nd traffic-light on the left side (entrance to our large hotel-parking place).

by train: leave Salzburg-main-trainstation direction center (to the left), go the 2nd street to the right side (this is the Saint-Julienstrasse). You will find us after about 150 meters. It's about 5-7 minutes walking distance.

by plαne: You can take a taxi (costs about 10-15 Euros, takes about 15 minutes time) or the bus (bus number 2). Leave the bus at the bus-stop "Saint-Julienstrasse" and go the Saint-Julienstrasse to our hotel (about 100 meters). To go by bus takes about 30 minutes.
