Friendly, well-informed staff. Rooms all have balcony. Wonderful breakfast with daily fresh locally baked bread and cakes. Daily printed list of events and suggested activities, including detailed local weather forecast. No evening meals are served (but a neigbouring Pension serves excellent meals at reasonable prices). The staff were friendly, courteous and very happy to share suggestions of where to ski in the area. Room was very comfortable and had an incredible view of the sunset between the mountains. It's quiet and peaceful, a remote escape in the mountains.

In summer we offer bed and breakfast so that our guests have the possibility to enjoy the long summer evenings in our mountains. In winter we offer half-board with a daily salad buffet and a choice of 2 main courses. In the afternoon we serve delicious, home-made cakes and various teas and coffees.

Ramsau am Dachstein is a high plateau, 18 km long and 3 km wide. Our hotel is very quietly situated in the middle of this plateau, at the edge of the forest and the meadows and at the end of a blind alley. The village centre is only a 20-minute walk away. From our house you have a wonderful view of the mountains of the Schladminger Tauern and the entire Dachstein Massif.
