The family-run Hotel Gasthof Schöpf in Gries close to Längenfeld was completely renovated in autumn 2016 and enjoys a quiet location in the heart of the Ötztal, at 1,573 metres above sea level. It features a wellness area with a pool and an on-site ski rental and shop. From all rooms you can enjoy panoramic views of the Tyrolean mountains. Tyroelan specialities and international cuisine are served in the restaurant. An afternoon cake buffet and a fondue evening once a week make the culinary offer complete. Wellness facilities also include a sauna, a steam bath and an infra-red cabin. For the little guests of the Hotel Gasthof Schöpf there are high chairs and baby monitors available. You can also take part in baby-friendly hiking tours.

Great food, nice rooms and fantastic location. Beautiful scenery. Hotel is close to some very nice hiking tracks which take you into the higher areas of the Austrian mountains. . Good quality. Not expensive. Clean and comfortable. Dinner was quite good if you choose form menu, but my wive doen't it meat and there was no option without meat frequently. The village (Gries) where the hotel seems more or less deserted after 7pm. This may be caused by the fact that we stayed here very early in the summer season. However, it's only a short drive to Solden or Langenfeld which are much more busier places.
