Lovely, budget priced small hotel conveniently located right in Darling Harbour and just a bus or ferry ride to Sydney Harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff and as a solo traveler I felt safe and very much at "home" here for the 3 nights I stayed. There is a kitchen available to use which was handy as well as a grocery store a few blocks away. There is no elevator which was not a problem for me but may be for others, however staff carried my bag up for me. Room and bed were clean and comfo.

Perfect location for the busses, train and ferries Very friendly staff. Great view from the balcony. Staff was very helpful to look after our luggage before we could get our room and also on the day we left. Great café nearby, Rob's café. Rob makes the best coffee, breakfast and lunch in Darling Harbour. It was a great location in Pyrmont. Close to Harbourside and Darling Harbour, close to Lyric and Casino and Doltone House where had Stayz Holiday Rental Summit. Alan the receptionist was most helpful and friendly and assisted with bag handling. The hotel is very well situated right next to Darling Harbour, staff very helpful, especially to a couple of seniors like us (ages 70 and 76), room clean and good kitchen facilities to enable one to have a comfortable stay. The hotel is clean and budget friendly. It is in a very convinient location across the Harbourside mall and all the attractions at Darling harbour. The staff is polite and helpful. They have a well equipped kitchen. A clean and basic hotel. I was given the top floor room which was a simple yet cozy two bed plus TV and a portable air conditioner. Free internet is something uncommon amongst Sydney hotels which I really liked. Staff were very obliging freindly and went the extra mile to accomodate your needs. Room was clean as was linen and towels. ideal for my trip close to CBD exibition centre and entertaiment centre. Very satified. All was good for what we needed. No complaints at all. Budget accommodation so didn't have high expectations. Value for money. No lift to third floor for wife that struggles with pain. Alan helped with baggage and most helpful with information. Having to climb one flight of stairs but guess that cannot be helped. it was a bit tough to climb all 3 floors in that narrow staircase. Shower had a faucet that was falling apart. Not keen on share kitchens. But I didnt use so it didnt matter to me. The people taking advantage of the kitchen facilities seem to enjoy. Inability to be able to make tea/coffee in the room. Expecting a hair dryer which is the norm these days. The outside prescence of the building...put you off a bit...which was a shame. Nothing! Would highly recommend to my friends. Price was higher than others but you pay for the location I think. Stairs/ I had to take my suitcase down from 2nd floor when I left as no one around until 9 o'clock. I'm 81 years old. No breakfast. A few people in staff. Sometimes, it is loud outside. Had no T.V in the room nothing major. No lifts, so one must be prepared to walk up to three levels, depending on where your room is located. There is no parking and the parking that was recommended by the hotel, which is the Harbourside Parking close to Novotel charges $60 a night, not $30 as advised by the hotel. The wifi on the top floor is not so good. Besides, there is no lift. The room is small but fine for just one or two nights. Noisy, no soundproofing on windows. Some heavy vehicles on road outside the hotel. No desk in the room on which to write. I had to take my computer down to the kitchen. Fortunately it was after midnight, so I did not get in the way of other guests. Beds were extremely hard. we could have done with extra pillows and blankets and the hot water in the shared bathroom was not so good . the noisy people who kept banging doors outside our room and talking. couldn't get to sleep until after 3 a.m. had to try and function all next day on less than 4 hrs sleep. not good. The stairs!!!. A little noisy from busy road but not a major issue. It advertise a tv when booking the hotel but there was no tv in the room. The internal stairs. Need a drinking glass/cup. No TV in Room No Spare Keys for additional guests. Rooms need a paint job. bit short on bench top,no cupboard or draws space. the mattresses on the bunk beds were very hard, shower was a little small. having to climb four flights of stairs everytime we needed to go to the room. the bathroom. Main fan was only on low speed and potable one supplied rattled all night. Lack of shower curtain meant toilet got soaked. No parking, cost $54.00 overnight other motels have a deal worked out with parking stations. only one pillow each.
