Budget friendly hotel in Northbridge which is an excellent area for restaurants and entertainment. Clean, tidy and quiet with great bed and aircon and plenty of hot water. Friendly and efficient staff who did the very best for us - thank you. The Food, The service was excellent thru out the Hotel. I will still stay at this Hotel, because I believe they will attend the problems. Do not miss Friday night Karioki, this is well run and worth it!.
all reviews » The room was spacious, bed huge and comfortable and spa bath excellent. Great location with the best Vietnamese Restaurant across the road where we had dinner. Breakfast in Chimes was also very good. Everything we were waiting on pays and they let us pay what we could when could. Everything was good and staff was incredible just booked agian for another stay in a few weeks :). Beautiful establishment, rooms are divine and staff are nice. Great value for money, close to Perth CBD and close to great food outlets. I liked the hotel very much as I have been coning there now would be about 3 times. its a lovely hotel and is close to all amenities. Location, king size bed, spa, price, privacy, secure parking, king room is huge. Has a cafe next door called Tarts. Staff were awesome. Went above and beyond to cater for anything we wanted. Would definitely stay again. no hassle booking, trouble free arrival except lift in carpark not on, food very good, good location. The location itself is in a quiet spot, but just a ten minute walk and you can be in the heart of Perth. - In the room have own spa facilities - The room is clean and nice - Good value for money - The Pub - Have safe deposit box and own iron clothes in room. Food ormally quite good. we always enjoy a spa and relax on the verandas. the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Silly price for internet - very basic bar which needs a refit and we did not eat at the Northbridge as we were given free internet at every other establishment in the area. The room I had 208 was tired, the carpet had a large tear, the chair was ready to give way and to top off the toilet would not flush and this happened 3 times after repairs. In the end you had to bang hard to be able to flush,Not Good!. No pay tv - hubby wanted to watch an All Blacks test. A few extra pillows would be great for reading in bed. We didn't have a view buts that wasn't a big deal. We had view of backpackers yard. Staff only saw 1 at time of check in, it was not that super welcoming or friendly. Hallways of hotel could do with a colour change as it looked tired but the room didn't disappoint. Fridge didn't work. Light globe blown. Just those little things. Maintanence let them down a bit. bad mouldy smell upon entering room. minor maintainence issue with towel holder. Nothing. The bathroom wasn't very clean. Everything was great. Bit noisy, could hear guests in adjoining rooms. Parking around the hotel is limited at night. bbq sandwhich with pork but cider was good staff were nice and fridenly. The restaurant could be spruced up a little to make it more inviting for breakfast. Found bed just a bit hard and uncomfortable but otherwise ok. A good 20 mins walk into city. Attached restaurant, maitre 'd ignorant, chefs went home early before diners ordered dessert,. No wifi although it was supposed to be available. Poor TV connectivity too. Bathroom not as nice as rest of room, musty smell, identifed as leak in area of fridge, room staff also noted this and it was to be attended to. renovations banging on the walls next to our room. That when we arrived they had no idea we had booked through letsbookhotel.com and said they had no rooms left. It was only when I showed them my receipt via email on my phone that they sorted it out, but it took about an hour in the lobby, which was a waste of our holiday. Room service only available until 9pm. rooms starting to look a little old with some cracks in tiling and sink (nothing major). The smell of cigarette or other in the room, while the room was very clean and tidy, being non smokers it hit us when we opened the door,. lack of street parking. A problem with key cards that allowed people to enter our room at 12.30am. Very disconcerting!. Nothing. $200 a night. In house movies started at $15 that is very deer. The man at the front desk was hostile and made us feel like he didn't want us there. Nothing. The single lift was a bit slow. The spa bath was quite noisy, so even though it was available, didn't really make much use of it for fear of upsetting the neighbours! The power to the room is cut completely when your key card isn't in the holder - this may be the reason why the complimentary milk for the tea/coffee in the room was off on my first night! Thisis only a minor issue though and in all, a good place to stay. - The bathroom become one with the room. We had a lot of problems with their swipe-key system for unlocking the gate to the underground carpark requiring several trips back to reception. Have stayed at this hotel quite a few times now - a bit annoyed they now charge for parking. Regularly have a problem with airconditioning in the rooms. we requested a late check out because husband had a procedure at a nearby hospital that morning. we were told the hotel was fully booked the next night and they needed to get the room ready. we were unable to get a late checkout which meant my husband had to wonder around Perth with a recording devise attached to his body. the fridge did not work and was not fixed or replaced throughout our stay, despite being reported 5 times.
