Have stayed several times at esplanade river suites and always find it excellent value for money. Rooms are always very clean, bed is comfortable and I love their pillow menu. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a very nice buffet. Will definitely stay again. Light blocked curtains. Spa. Secure parking. Large comfortable bed. Very clean. Friendly reception staff that gave directions and made phone calls to assist with finding restaurants open due to the public holiday.

There was a letter in our room stating that the water would be turned off from 7 pm for 3-5 hours because of a leak We had purposely booked this room for the spa bath. We went out for the evening, came back and the water was on. I'm not sure if it was turned off or was fixed quicker than they thought. The leaking tap in the bathroom sink. Needed to be more variety to choose from on the menus including the room service menu, the food was beautiful just need more choices. The Room we got was to bright in the morning, so no sleep in for us when we got home at 4am. Not sure it we just lucked out on some curtains. All n all good hotel. Found a dirty pair of Jocks, in the bathrooom washing machine. Expensive and stupid $15 parking idea! Waited 1.5hrs for our main meal to come out!, and only compensated a glass of house wine each. Over expensive minibar items, including bottled water! (you would sell a lot more if they where cheaper!). No smoking on the balcony. Makes no sense . Perth accommodation prices. Not enough milk in the rooms. I could not make the airconditioning cold enough There was a notice on the controls that said it woud leak water if turned colder. this needs to be fixed. Staff behind the counter not very friendly. Never looked up to greet you when entering foyer. There was only a top sheet on the bed and only 1 blanket in the cupboard which I thought was odd. On checkout we had to retain the room key to drive our car out of the secure parking and then return the room key which is not really a problem except if you were in a hurry. No free wi-fi. The spa bath in our room (211) was filled with sand on the bottom didn't look clean. Nothing in the room was complimentary . Bottles of water should not incur an extra cost . nil-enjoyed the stay -couldn't fault. Limited breakfast. Being on my own. Nothing. nothing. Spa had brown water probably rusty pipes. hard bed really hard dont believe you should pay for parking. Not sure if the spa and jets where clean. Bathroom door wasn't wiped down, hand prints all over door and architrave. Rm 202. Can't complain. Non avalibility of any shopping area nearby. The Studio room overlooking river, the traffic was noisy all night need to have more sound proofing. I feel I was miss lead when I signed up for the deluxe studio. The name sounds good but the room and size left me disappointed. Restaraunt prices very expensive. Location a bit out of the centre 15 mins on bus into perth. Paying a $5 charge to deliver any room service meal, no matter the cost of the meal !! Paying $27.95 to use Internet for 24hours..., this should be included in room charge. $15 per day to park your car. The spa bath was too high for my elderly mother to step up into it and after I helped her it was slippery to stand in. Elderly folks are not catered for in this respect. Also the bathroom sink tap dripped constantly and could not be turned off. And the sofa bed I slept on was uncomfortable and not able to support an adult over 70kg. I've slept on a sofa bed in Broome at one of the resorts and it was more supportive and comfortable. Not being warned that the dining room was booked out for a function the night I arrived. Parking expensive and air conditioner noise from outside made sleeping dificult. cost reception staff. Rooms are very poor condition for the money, couldnt believe there was a fee for parking, a fee for internet, have stayed in lots of accom around the country and never encountered this before was looking forward to a few days of well deserved r&r but very disappointed in rooms. Too many conference people milling about the reception area and clogging up the main areas . I understand you heed conference but keep them out of the main thoroughfare. the food was over priced for what it was, customers requests for special occasions not met.
