We were impressed at the quality of the accom for the price and the features like beach inlet bbqs - everything was 'neat as a pin' and better than some 4/5 star resorts for cleanliness. The location (approx 1.2km from main street) and ease of travel with bus and ferry services for our teenager and toddler (to beach at Hastings St) was also great. We felt spoilt by the simple niceties like quality soaps, a full size fridge, small store close by and easy bus ride to the supermarket. The differen.
all reviews » We were pleasantly surprised that the advertisements accurately described our unit. We had a ground floor unit which was easily accessed from the covered car space. It opened out onto lawns which led to the marina where birds and ducks frequently landed. It was very quiet and conveniently located. We hope to return one day, even in the middle of winter because the reverse cycle air-con meant there was adequate heating for cold winter nights, infrequent though they are in Noosa. Suzy that was working on reception that day was very friendly and helpful. Being so close to the beach. Plenty of bbq areas. Pool area was very good heated pool. 15 minutes flat walking to Hasting St. Gardens kept well. Lots of lovely places to sit around the Beach area and relax. Good places to eat very close by. Rock Salt very good really enjoyed the food and service. Little cafe on the corner do lovely lunches too. What this place was wonderful. The unit was so roomy and so comfortable. The view took my breath away. This place had everything you needed and the staff so helpful and friendly. I couldnt believe how close we where to the water and to sit back on your couch and watch all the water activity was so relaxing..... Great place. We loved Noosa! The resort was really nice, needed a car but there's so much to see and do you need one. Great food and cafes. The resort is clean. We loved our stay at the resort our apartment had a great feel and was so comfortable the restaurants five minutes away were to die for RICKY,S a little expensive but worth it and no need to drive home just a short stroll. The assistance that worked during the week was not very friendly . The assistance had all the information you needed but needs to think how she us talking to the client on the phone and face to face. Suzy who was working on the week end was lovely and very helpful . Reception needs to be open longer on Saturday so people have more time to settle in if arriving that day. We would have hired a Kayak but did not have enough time on the Saturday to do this as reception closes at 3pm . Wifi is complete rubbish. It doesn't work and it can't be fixed. We were assured the resort is upgrading but the company supplying it needs to be sacked an d a completely new one installed. bathroom & toilet slatted door lacked privacy from the very close bedroom. Only down side was that we couldn't stay longer. Not enough bath towels, no swimming towels, no free wifi. Bedroom too bright needs a set of blockout curtains. Floors need a thorough clean (residue). Blinds had a little mould in the living room....didn't diminish our enjoyment. A decent 20 minute walk into town but there are buses. We weren't there long enough. We will be back. Internet is not free. No oven mits or microwave containers in kitchen (room 34). Old bathroom. Minor, but bathroom (ensuite) was a little small. The bathrooms were definately outdated, but hey, that's no biggy. We were in the middle of a monsoon low during our stay so we thought the staff would have been a little more sympathetic, but that's just a little whinge. It's difficult to come up with a negative given the short time of our stay. The reception closes early weekends. The weather but that is not something anyone can control. It could be written on the description that it is not a hotel but an apartment, so you need to look after it (no room service and amenities not provided). Our apartment faced south so didn't get much sunlight, the rest of the resort was more northerly/westerly facing so if I went again I would request one of those. Bed needed to have something to stop it rolling around. Kept moving every time we sat on it. exterior noise, from activity on waterway late at night to surrounding appartments. We were charged $18 for two support calls to the Wifi Support Centre people because the WiFi was not working - extortation. You need to get the WiFi sorted need to be able to check business emails and spent nearly 2 hours trying to make it work. The Support man apologised but not good enough to be charged for something that is offered and paid separately for. There was a fault with the system would not recommend on that basis. That we had to leave!. Room was a little tired. not much. Bathroom very small. Unit 9 is in need of a refresh. storage for kayaks, trailers etc. Going home. Unit bathroms could be upgraded but not a serious concern. Noise from other visitors after 11pm. (have to understand they are on holiday...:-)). small bathroom. No air conditioning, pool was too warm. tired bathrooms, no salt. I think it is mean not to include free wifi in what is a relatively expensive place to stay. internet connection was terrible a bit too far from town.

A quiet 4 star property with 65 fully self contained apartments and penthouses on the Noosa River. Culgoa has its own private beach, heated swimming pool, sauna, spa, half tennis court and tour desk. Only a flat walk to Hastings street, main beach and National park as well a minutes from Gympie terrace. Complimentary marina berths available for guests with boats.
