  We loved everything! Our welcome was genuine, not too over the top but impressive enough to make us feel great. The accommodation was exactly as promised; beautiful bathroom, shower & queen-size bed, just like home, and we both slept like wonderfully. Dinner wonderful - steak superb - service excellent. Only wished I heard the piano the night we were there. and none of these things cost the earth. Finally the gardens were beautifully maintained, for any garden lover a real treat to wander through. If we are ever passing through this area we would not hesitate to stay at the Barn Accommodation.

  We loved this hotel. The decor was really modern everything was in immaculate order and spotlessly clean. One of the nicest places we've stayed in during our travels.   This was my second trip to mt Gambier & it was a much better experience because of our host Simon. His knowledge of things to do that would suit my elderly mother & myself made it a very enjoyable visit. The house was very homely & we were instantly able to relax by the fire. - all that was mentioned by Wendy we agree with plus Colwyn... what people say » House is a beautiful ,full of character home.   This place offered real value for money. Comfortable and quiet rooms were just a nice size. Decor was a little dated but in good condition and clean, and everything worked like it should, and the linen looked to be new. Unlike some places I've stayed it was quite pleasant and seemed family friendly. - Easy to find, close to local shopping centre.... what people say » Friendly, helpful staff.   The cleanliness and high standard of the room in general. I have never stayed in a place as clean as the Arkana. The bed and linen was of the highest quality and extremely comfortable.
