The location is brilliant, with the tram line just across the road for quick trips to the city, Chapel street a short distance away and St Kilda restaurant area and beach all within walking distance. The apartment (3 bedroom) was very spacious, with full kitchen.
We really liked the fact it was a 3 bedroom apartment...just what we needed! The living area was spacious and the kitchen well laid out. It was so close to the tram stop and a 7 Eleven just a block away! Free wi-fi!!. all reviews »

It was the perfect place for us to stay. The apartment was great and with the trams nearby we saved got into town easily. The staff at the Stanton were fantastic and very helpful.
I liked how central it was to everything and the fact you could take all 4 children with you for a family holiday and see the sights of melbourne city on a budget.
went out of there way for my diabetic daughter went beyond what we expected cant thank them enough I was 3500ks away they made it less stressful thank u.

Rooms were lovely. Spacious and clean, however for a 3 bedroom unit to only have 1 toilet was challenging.

Apartment was roomy for our family group of 3 adults and 2 children
(aged 10 and 7), it was equipped with all that was required, including
milk, washing liquid, toilet rolls, towels, tissues, soap and shampoo.
Barbara on the desk gave good information on arrival, she was only there
for 3 days and then had her own holiday.
The location was very convenient, close to the city, beach and public transport. The accommodation was roomy and well-appointed. The apartment looked like the promo photos, just a lot older and 'tireder'.

The oven door was broken and if we felt comfortable to actually use it, we didn't see any instructions.
The flooring in the corridor was lifted and was a OHS risk.
There was a lot of noise from the room next door, obviously a party
happening. This was difficult to make sure that the kids could get to
sleep without lots of banging and crashing from next door. Also the lift
was not working that night and was not much better in the morning.
The hotel looked very tired and not well looked after over the years. Just needs a new coat of paint or something to give it back some life..
The apartment was for 6 people yet the lounge area only accommodated 4... go figure.
Apartment was a little dated but for the price no complaints!!.
The odd smell on our level (not in the appartment we stayed in) as we
left our room and went to the lift..
A bit noisy at night due to the main road, apartment a bit old but this did not bother us.
Could of used cleaner couches and maybe a common room.

Our room wasn't ready when we checked in because the lifts weren't working so the cleaners couldn't get to the room. It wasn't anybodys fault, just bad timing.

Spa was not working. Apartments desperately need modernisation & repair.
Apartment did look a little tired, but was generally clean,
lift/hall ways could have done with a clean. Settee had a bit of a
lumpy spring.
The apartment was very much in need of a good scrubbing. The couch cushions need to be lifted so all the scraps, socks and dirt can be removed. The couches themselves need replacing. We actually covered them with the spare blankets from the bedrooms.
Starting to look a bit tatty..could use a refurb of carpets etc...
Generally run down. Chipped and scuffed paint in corridors. TINY swimming pool!.

The shower was noisey and too dark.

The room we had was alright 2B our other friends room I thought was pretty rundown, damp and not that clean. Reception I found needed a really good clean, sweep and vaccumm.

The apartment looked absolutely nothing like pictures on the net which resulted in disappointment.
The reception was unmaned, we had to wait for someone to open the entry door.
The person checking us in had a heavy accented monotonous voice that was hard to understand.
