The convenient location, with easy access to Lygon St. and within walking distane of Federation Square and Melbourne Museum. The facilities in the apartment - while not used all that much by ourselves - were good and could be very useful. The on-site laundary was also very convenient and useful. The location is good, especially as we had an early morning appointment a short walk away. Although small, the apartment was well set out, clean, modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed except an iron, which staff brought to the room promptly.

It was clean comfortable and quiet. Frankly I had the best 2 nights sleep I have had in years. There was no smoke smell in hallways like you often get. Its was close to everything and tram stop outside. Will stay again. Issues with electrical appliances were responded to quickly and with a smile. I stay at the Arrow each time I am in Melbourne because it is good value, quite close to the city, and a tram stop right outside. Close to the city, location was really really good. Very good price for comfortable accommodation, close to all amenties, including public transport. it is very close to tram and easy to access main attractions at Melbourne using public transport. Plus it is easy to find halal food near this hotel. It was great getting a room each. I didn't expect this given it was a twin share. The kitchen was a great size. The shower had good water pressure. Central location. Close to tram. very co-operative staff who tried their best to make us comfortable. maintenance issues fixed quickly. Every thing was clean &tidy .staff helpful especially the afternoon of wall collapse when we couldnt get car or luggage to door. Proximity to city and to Carlton. Affordable for our needs. In the morning there was no hot water, so no shower! The reason given was the morning demand. This is not good enough for a hotel. i didn't like the delay in checking in and checking out (takes up to 15 mins to check in), especially since i was in a hurry. The noise levels of the other occupants wasn't very nice. There were people slaming doors and talking loudly (you could hear them next door), this was occuring at all hours. Did not get much sleep because of the noise level's from the other occupants. Nothing. It would have been helpful to have more info on the miki card for using the trams. A hand towel in the bathroom would have been nice too. Very, very firm (hard) mattress!! but staff tried to pad the bed with quilts to soften it. This did help. Excessive noise from back building load speaker- microphone noise every minute in chinese until 11.30 at night.would not stay again !!. When someone in another room along the corridor slammed a door, the whole floor reverberated. The button on our toilet kept getting stuck. Very small, facilities (eg pool/gym) were in a different building, sofa bed equivalent to a small single bed. single beds too small and uncomfortable, prefer king single. lack of sleep affected my stay. Nothing. They took 15 minutes to find my booking on arrival! Very worrying, and I was in a hurry. $5 for two hours internet access. Many other hotels are free or $5 for 24 hours. Minimal space in the apartment. The hotel is basic but the staff are very good. The room was small but it is a budget hotel. Some noise from the trams, but nothing earplugs didn't fix!. Small & compact very Hard bed Key access in elevator requires service, only worked about 60% of time and resulted in much time wasted!. No fly wire screens on windows. Being opposite a building site, noisy from about 6:30am. Not your fault, but it was a -ve. The tram stop cleaning crew at 4am one morning. The staff knocks a few times and comes in early in the morning for housekeeping even if you're sleeping even though the reception tells you housekeeping only starts at 2pm. Nothing except next door hotel was very close so blind's down most of the time, can't be helpt. Everything else was good. Could not watch TV in bed TV remote didn't work Inconvenient power points for jug. Cleaning is not accurate. Sunday not cleaning service. The lounge area was a bit too small. Everything was good. Only complaint would be outside noise during the night from nearby road work. Bed was rather hard There was a lot of noise on Saturday afternoon/night Walking around the bed was difficult due to limited space. They didn't explain the procedure when yr parked yr car in there hotel, how to get to yr room from there. We had to ask for towels coz there weren't any. We chose arrow above others as it offered internet access in the room cost but when arriving, discovered it was not working and we'd have to pay extra for different internet. Freezer did not work. The room curtain cannot fit well , can see from other building. At morning the sun light face to the bed so cannot sleep after 6. Nothing!. Parking, very difficult when you have your own car, due to the design of the street. Entrance to Arrow car park difficult to see. The apartment needed a bit of maintenance. New silicone around vanity unit/tiles and wc. Loose soap dish that rotated when you put your soap in it. Compact room. Would have liked more space. No wifi.
