comfortable, friendly,reasonably priced, convenient supermarket next door, also takeaways nearby . it was a couple of minutes from the Silver Dome where we had our convention. The Bed was Comfortable. and the staff friendly and helpful. We found that the spa and pool and sauna was a pleasant bonus, thanks. what we enjoyed was the quiet evenings ,as we could sleep well. we would like to visit and stay again in a few months. we would recommend your hotel to friends. thanks for a pleasant couple .
all reviews » The Olde Tudor provided us with excellent accommodation for our golf week in Launceston. It was central to all of the Golf Courses and was in close proximity of eateries, bars, shops and transport. The facilities(pool, spa and sauna) were also an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and modern and more than adequate in size and facilities. Ease of car access. the room choice at end of row, (45) and away from most other rooms, car parking, Facilities close by, i.e restaurant, bottleshop , and other shops close by compliment and make this hotel more attractive to stay at. Bathroom was devine, next time I would love to stay longer to try out the spa bath. I loved the motel as it was more ,like staying in a small unit. The bathroom was excellent with double basins, eventhough only one was required, and the spa a real luxury. I thoughly enjoyed the stay and will definitley tell all my friends and family about the great unit and location. Room was quiet, and very clean. Supermarket was within 20 seconds walk. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer in the bathroom) very welcome as we had been camping. Kitchen also very clean and great to have. Great value for us, very impressed. Updated apartments. Very modern. Had a group of 14 who each wanted own bedroom. Staff accommodated us all with seven 2 bedroom units within close proximity of each other. Everyone was very happy. Would certainly stay there again!. After a rather disappointing attitude from senior staff a young lady working in the dining room went over and above her job description to ensure our needs were catered to and our stay was pleasant, thank you Rachel. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Since it was my 25th anniversary I was upgrade to superior one bedroom apartment as a gift from the hotel, it's was wonderful gift, thank you Olde Tudor hotel Saed Awwad. The holiday house was very well laid out and being so close to a supermarket and shopping centre was BRILLIANT! The wifi was a nice bonus too and the washing machine/dryer was a blessing!. I thought the room was of better than expected.I was very happy with what I got and to be sure I will be staying there many times in the future. host and hostess. Close to friend's home. Very clean. Very little noise. We stay in 2bedrooms apartment which is spacious wide. The shower room looks really nice and there is also the washing machine. The bathroom was great with a spa and two shower heads floor heated in bathroom. bed was comfortable and we were quite cosy. Villa had everything you needs for long or short stays and walking distance to shops/resturants. Will stay again. easy to find from the freeway. comfortable, warm unit. great bar meals. good range of beer to have with meal. It is excellent for children pool,spa,park and games room highly recommend for any family on a budget. Large rooms in character period style. Initially concerned as it was on a busy road, but traffic noise not an issue at all. The rain.....it didnt stop!!!! Nothing to complain about.... That management and senior staff were not very accommodating and quite rude, although floor level workers and cleaners really shone and made up for the arrogance of senior staff, management could learn a lot from their staff in this establishment. The pool room was very hard to open and the spa/pool was quite cool especially with young children...but it was a minor inconvenience. Not enough milk for coffee. Would have liked a microwave in the room. everything was good. no clock radio in unit. Our mattress was rather old and uncomfortable. The very thin walls between apartments. Quite thin mattress on the single bunks. No hairdryer in the bathroom and fan in bathroom very noisy. Not enough TV stations stations. The room was showing a bit of age but was good for the price paid. Extended stay - didn't need the room serviced all the time Sometimes the public (younger drivers) would park outside and use the motel area to hang out until I asked them to move on. Might be an idea to install a sign or a boom gate to avoid this and provide better safety. Didn't have any laundry powder - had to but at supermarket more than I could use. Nothing in particular. The key being taken out didn't leave any warmth to the room when I came back after dinner Was freezing. the dogs barking outside my room at 11.30 pm. The place is a bit tired but was still fine. Bed was just a little hard, apart from that perfect accomadation. No complaints. no negatives. Beds were a bit old/firm. Not all facilities were available during this time. Issues with their wifi. People staying next door were loud and had music playing most of night. I was worried they might damage my car. Decor a bit tired. How old the rooms were.
